Anyone ever ....

In response to the posters who think "I'm joking" , if you read the original post it was a response to another poster in another thread to use the plastic baggies to take food from the buffet/ts meals they eat. This will be my first disney trip and i've never packed "baggies" for anything, including a meal, so I was questioning it. I never meant to imply I was going to take a huge tupperware thing and "sneak" food out, nor would I ever. I was thinking more along the lines of a disposable sandwich container. I think i'm being misunderstood here, but just to make it clear, i had no intention of taking large amounts of food.

I can't believe I am reading the OP's post and some of the responses!

It is called STEALING!

At a buffet you are paying for what you eat at that moment, not after you leave! Anything taken for later consumption is out and out stealing.

FYI: Stealing is against the law, no matter how high the buffet prices seem.

This also goes with pretending to lose a single stroller to collect another one because you didn't want to pay the double price, or the price of two strollers. I'm all for saving money, but I will not, nor will I condone stealing.

What I read from your original post is that you were asking about taking food from the buffet to put away for later. The "amount" of food in my opinion is not important (large or small), it is still the same thing. You are not supposed to take tupperware to a buffet. (Wow, does that sound like a quote for the tag fairy or what? :rotfl: )

Don't go to the buffet if you're not all that hungry. Seriously, if you are worried you aren't going to be able to eat enough to justify the cost, choose somewhere else.

I think I can see where the OP's original question came from. She said she's never been to Disneyworld.

I know that some of the ideas/suggestions I read on this board sound kind of "out there" at first, such as getting up ultra early and following a touring plan. I remember thinking who gets up early on vacation the first time I heard it. Or where to stand for a parade - again, I was thinking, what does it matter where I stand?

It could be that the OP read someone's suggestion about bringing tupperware/baggies to put left-over food in and was wondering if people really did this? Kinda like, do people really stake out a viewing spot for Illuminations two hours before the show? (Okay, and yes, I've done the staking out.)

I find myself saying "Did they just ask that????" a lot on these message boards. :confused3

Um...no, I don't think it would be ok to take food from the buffet. It's all you can eat THEN...not for the next 24 hrs.

Sorry.

Was at a Casio buttet and seen some old people getting kicked out because they had zip locks they were filling with food at there table. :scared1:
