Anyone ever use "oven ready" lasagna noodles?

Yup, I use them all the time. Less prep time and clean up.

I made a cooked-noodle one for a pot-luck, then decided to make another using the no-cook noodles. The cooked one was much better. I'm going to cook them from now on, unfortunately. (However, I only make lasagna every couple of years, since my dd doesn't eat it, and it's only the two of us!)

What about the mannicoti noodles....can you fill them without cooking them too????

This is the question I'd like an answer to also. I've got a really good, very easy manicotti recipe but I can never get the blasted noodles to come out in one piece after they've been boiled.

You can use regular ones just like the no cook ones. Add a little water to your sauce and cook a little longer. Works great!
Yep. No need to buy special noodles. I've been cooking lasagna this way since I started cooking for myself. Just have to make sure the noodles are covered in sauce (I don't even add water myself), or they do get tough.

:thumbsup2 I use them all the time for my spinach and artichoke lasagna. They come out perfect!

Sincerelli, would you mind sharing that recipe?

I always use the oven ready noodles when I make my regular lasagna and it always comes out perfect.

I use the regular noodles, but just make sure there is alot of sauce so they "boil" in the oven.

Sure!

Ingredients:

No cook lasagna noodles
1 can vegetable broth
1 can artichoke hearts (quartered)
1 box (10 oz) frozen spinach, thawed and drained
1 onion, minced
1 jar Ragu Alfredo OR garlic parmesan sauce (I always use the garlic parmesan one)
Mozzarella cheese (about 3-4 cups)
Crumbled feta cheese (any flavor)

Saute onion. Add vegetable broth, artichoke hearts, and spinach. Bring to a boil, and then lower fire. Simmer for five minutes. Remove pan from fire and stir in Ragu sauce.

Layer lasagna in pan: noodles, spinach-artichoke mixture, cheese. For final layer, add mozzarella cheese and top with feta cheese. Bake, covered, at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes. Uncover and bake for 10-15 minutes more.

This is a famaily favorite and goes great with garlic bread. Enjoy!

That is the only way I do my manicotti. I will stuff and place in pan, pour sauce over and then have it sit in the refridgerator overnight.

I have tried the Barrilla lasagne and prefer to boil and layer mine (that way I have extra pasta to roll in the sauce and eat as is).
