We paid 99 cents for the WDW Wait Times app today. We leave on Tuesday and have been watching line times all day.
So you don't have to be in the parks or within a certain distance of the parks to be able to check wait times, etc...? That's great! I was wondering about thatThanks!

Unfortunately, the app isn't available for smartphones (I have a Droid and dh has a Blackberry) so I'm going to be using Lines for our trip next week.
Verizon really missed the boat w/ this one not having a version for smartphones!

Hi SRUAlum: There is 1 fee for all the features that have been talked about in this thread. Here is link with more info, FAQ, etc:

If your phone is compatible, you can download it directly to the phone, by texting the word "magic" to a particular number (this is on the website above). One thing I thought I should mention is that we have a non-smart phone that was not listed on the website as compatible, but we tried texting "Magic" to the specified number and it worked. So, even if your phone type is not listed, you can give it a try. (If your phone is not compatible, you will get a message back telling you this...so you will not be charged unless it will work for your phone.)
We thought it was really fun to have MM during our stay.

So, for those who have used to app, did you use it all the time, or was it more of a once and a while thing? I am pretty cheap when it come to things like this. I am thinking it would be a fun thing to have, but may not be essential to my trip.![]()
