Anyone ever use Mobile Magic?

We can't get Mobile Magic (we have t-mobile), but we did sign up for the free text messaging. Is this any good and is it accurate?

You can get up to 4 texts a day and they give you info like see now, moderate wait, high demand.

The only accurate info they give you is if FP's are still available.

If you go here you can see the same info you will get in the texts.

i tried to add this about the characters (but my internet flaked on me). anyway, for whatever reason, the characters in Toontown always showed that they were NOT out. i don't know why that is. we had great luck with other characters, random characters, etc. :confused3

thanks - so do i go to the site on my phone and just bookmark it? I am new to both this and BB.

Yes. Lines started out as a website. Like I said you don't have to use your BB just go to the site and log in.

There is an "app" for the iphone but I don't think its much different than the website.

Thanks!! Now I just need to figure out how to bring up my bookmarks....LOL! :worship:

You guys had me all excited about this. I don't have a smartphone so I thought I was set. But...the app isn't available for my phone or my daughter's phone. She has an LG Cosmos and I have a Samsung Alias. I'm not eligible for an upgrade until 6 months AFTER our Disney trip.

Anyone else ran into this problem?? Any way around it? (besides paying $200 for another phone.)

I believe it was discussed in another thread (and I think you mean the Intensity) - it is not on the list of supported phones, and if it is not listed you can't in general download it. For whatever reason it isn't supported.

There is an Intensity II coming out soon...but who knows when or if that one will be supported.

I didn't see a response on the other thread, I was asking because I read on one of these threads that somone used the app on a phone that wasn't listed and was wondering what phone that was (if that person was still reading Mobile Magic app threads).

I thought fiance could get the app b/c he has a blackberry, but I guess he can't

I have an LG Verizon flip phone (very old school, maybe from 2002-4?) will it work on this phone?

you need to look on the web site and see if it is among the supported phones. There are many.

I just downloaded Mobile Magic yesterday on my old Samsung Sway (which has no data plan and just basic voice plan.) and I saw the 1 something in MB data download listed on my bill when I looked online, but I have not seen the 9.99 charge.

My question is how long does it take for the 9.99 charge to show up on your bill? Will I see it on this months bill (which doesn't get paid until 8/4) or the following one?

Mine was on my statement for the next month, but I hadn't checked along the way to see exactly when it showed up. I DL'd it the 2nd week of June, and it was on my July statement.

Thanks! :) I just wanted to make sure it didn't show up at the end of the 6 months and I forgot all about it.

I normally block premium content, as I don't want to accidentally download something I have to pay for -- and more important, I don't want DD6 to download anything either (she knows to look for the $0.00 on the video clip selections, but it makes me feel safer.)

I assume I could "unblock" temporarily, download the app, and then block premium content again.

OR ... would I get in the park and find my application useless if I did this?:confused3 Anyone experience this?

This was so valuable to us during our trip. It was nice not to have to trek across the park to find out the the time was longer than we cared for.
