I get a really good rate, $542.00 for two weeks through the SWA web site. It says their counter is in the terminal, but the location of the cars is unknown. Anyone know anything about them?

Thanks

Have used them several times with no problems...SW wouldn't use them if there were problems. Cars are in the terminal...same garage as the four other on site rental agencies at MCO. I don't expect you'll have any problems :cool1:

We used them last year with no problems. The only thing I read was to be prepared with your car insurance information.

What do y ou mean your car insurance information? Do I have to bring a copy of my car insurance policy?

When I have rented from them, I photocopy the first page of the policy to bring. Sometimes they ask, sometimes not. Never had a problem with their cars.

This is inkkognito posting under her hubby's ID:

We have used L & M several times and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. We bring our ins. info. but have never been asked for it, nor have they pressured us to buy their ins. I say "no" and that's it. The cars we've been given have been very new.

We used L & M Car Rental over the week of Thanksgiving and we were so happy to pass the hour or so long wait at the Alamo counter and we only had 2 people in front of us at L & M, and they had 3 agents working too. The rate we had over a holiday weekend was awesome. We paid $284.00 and used a $10.00 coupon we printed from their website, so it only cost us $274.00 for a week rental of a 7 passenger mini van. The van was so nice, only 2,000 miles on it. We definatley will use them again, especially since we don't have to wait in that never ending Alamo car rental line again. Last time we used Alamo they only had 3 agents working and 3 wrapped around long lines. We waited an hour and 10 minutes to get to the counter.

Also about the insurance, they never pressured us to buy it, I did provide them with a copy of my insurance card that I keep in the glove compartment of our car at home and that is all they needed. They just want to make sure they are not giving a new car to someone that does not have insurance.

L&M, EZ, Payless, and a few others reserve the right not to rent to you if you don't have proof of insurance including collision and also decline the coverages they ask you to buy.

This is not likely to occur unless they are overbooked or it is Thanksgiving, Christmas, Daytona Week, or Easter.

You would ahve to check the policies or rules or fine print pages on the rental company's web site.
