Anyone ever use Hopper app to book hotels?
I have used Priceline but never any others. I want to be able to use my large credit but just unsure about how legit and if any troubles have been had using them.

When every hotel chain has their own website to book rooms, I don't see the need to ever use some 3rd party. If you have 'issues' with the reservation, you end up caught in the middle with each party saying it is the other party's problem. Much the same with airline reservations or rental cars. I use the various travel websites to determine which airline has the best flights and then go to the airline website to actually book the reservations. Haven't found any 3rd party who offers lowers prices and is simply compiling data from other sources.

Sorry, to clarify, are you trying to use Hopper for a WDW resort hotel stay?

I would personally save the credit for a different trip and would not book with 3rd party for WDW, ever. IMO they have one of the easiest websites to navigate for booking (when the website is working LOL), they have generous cancellation policies, and if you're staying more than one night, there is flexibility to pay over time. It is not worth saving a few dollars to get tangled up in the T&C of Hopper or another 3rd party website to potentially lose this flexibility.

And if the booking is for a Disney resort, they 3rd party is considered to 'own' that reservation and you can no longer contact Disney directly if you want to modify something.

Thanks for the replies. We are annual pass holders and have always just used Disney itself to book. Only used Priceline once but I saved several hundred when doing so. We have always stayed at the pop or aoa generally because it just feels like Disney to us. We did try swan & dolphin many years ago but didn’t care for it. This trip my adult daughter asked if we could just try a deluxe for a couple nights while there. So hence the attempt to use the hopper credit I would only be paying about $200 for 2 nights at poly with that. Just thought I would ask around before.

Ah, this context is helpful. I actually would consider taking the gamble on this one if it meant you could make the Poly work for your trip.

I was thinking the same until the replies. I did read somewhere else where one person claims they were able to book Disney using it. I might just leave the pop booked for those dates and attempt to book and then see if I can confirm everything is good with Disney after.

We used the Hopper app for a few flights, didnt book through them but used them to notify us whenever there were changes in the fares... I assume the Hotel link is the same, seemed good but wouldn't book through the app
