I've been seeing the commercial for this stuff that you just rub on your forehead.

Has anyone ever use it? Did it work?

Thanks

I've never tried it but I remember seeing the commercial for the first time. I said to my DH "when I get heachaches I get easily confused. I'd probably grab the glue stick instead."

Am curious if it works though, glue sticks don't.

:rotfl: I'm willing to try anything when I get a headache. Migraines are a @##%!*!

Amen Sister! :goodvibes Had a migraine 3 days in a row this week...sucks big time! Thank the stars I'm not having another one today....

I've never even heard of this stuff. I ALWAYS have a headache! They got even worse during my last pregnancy and was hospitalized. They just diagnosed it as Migraines, but nothing works on them. I have a headache right now in fact, my eyes hurt!

I've never heard of this stuff either. When I get a sinus headache I put Vicks vapor rub cream (not the greasy stuff) on my temples and that really helps. For a migrane I reach for the Zomig.

try keep cool strips or migrane ice (they adhere to your temple), another thing is try drinking cranberry juice (in addition to upping your intake of water). studies have shown that cranberry juice can lessen the effects of migranes as well as assist in stroke recovery.

i get horrible migranes (to the extent that the doctors finaly gave me morphine suppositories so i woul'nt have to keep running to the e.r.), i've tried the cranberry juice at the first sign of a migrane, and have found some success in lessen the duration as well as decreasing the pain.

my prayers to anyone who suffers with these.

My son bought me some peppermint stuff in a little roll-on type tube from Bath and Body Works. He said he didn't want to insult me by buying it, but he knows I get some really doozy headaches. This stuff is AMAZING. You rub it on your temples. One day while my 75 year old mother and I were out on errands, she told me she had a headache and said she didn't think this stuff would work, but after she tried it she went straight to the store and bought some.

I'm willing to try any suggestions. I've taken my migraine medicine at least once a day for the past 4 or so days. I should go to the ER for a demerol shot (or whatever they give), but I'm too stubborn. The medicine (Maxalt) does work, but I don't know why they keep coming back. Frustrating!

I have the same stuff and it works WONDERS! I love it!

Also their lavender linen spray seems to help me relax more and then it goes away faster.

ANd an added benefit of peppermint is if you whiff it under your nose it will make you pee! That is what they used in the hospital after I had my kids and needed a little "push" no pun intended.

:rotfl: After having 4 children and always drinking too much coffee, that's not something that I have to work on! But thanks for the warning! :teeth:

I am willing to try anything too, thats why I was wondering if anyone used this stuff. I take Maxalt for my migraines, but it costs a fortune and I am afraid my insurance wont cover it after I reach my pharmacy max.

I think it costs like $8 for the HEad on, so maybe I will try it :)

Just be careful not to get it too close to yours eyes! It can really sting!

Good luck! I hope it makes you feel better :)
