Anyone ever lose a pet?

My dog is VERY sick and my mom and dad just took her to the vet. They said there's a good chance she'll get put to sleep! For the past hour, me and my sister have been ttl wrecks. i really don't know wut to say to her.......i have said many prayers to god asking for him to please bring her home but i don't think it'll happen! i am soooooooo lost and i don't know wut to do. we have had her since before i was born in 1993! she is old but i don't want to loose her already! i hate crying in front of my sister cause if i do, she knows somethings wrong. wut really scares me is that my dad is scared. my mom always told us not to worry but if one of them start to worry, then you worry and i don't want to worry, i want to know for a fact if my doggy is coming home or not! i'll kepp u updated on her and wheather or not she comes home!

I lost my 2 kittens and there mother yesterday. My parents took them without my permission, and gave them away! I sobbed! Your dog is in ,my prayers!!

I am soooo sorry! The last time I lost a pet was like 5 years ago. I am not ready to handle this again. I have another dog too who is scared! she even knows wuts going on! have u ever heard a dog cry? thats all shes been doing and i cant take it anymore. if i hug her i get worked up about the other one but i know that she needs loved too. OMG! she is going to be soooo lonely. those two were the best of frineds now her best friend might be gone!

5 cats
2 turtles

I have lost a ton of fish too but there were the ones u won at a fair......the 2-day lives ones.

2 years ago my cat Luna died of Luckimia on April 6th, and in the same year Louie died of a tummy infection (he had to be put to sleep)
but we think that he also had lukimia too and had caught it off Luna.
I know how you feel

I know a few years ago I lost my dog Harley. When he got sick we were told he might only live a few more weeks. I prayed to God with all my might that we could have more time together. He lived for three more months without pain (the vet gave him pain pills), and I will always be thankfull that God gave me a little more time. He was my best friend. That dog loved me so much that he let me ride on him like a horse when I was real little.I'm glad you have alot of time left with her!

My pet lovebird, the first one I ever had, died by drowning when we moved in our house. I had another one but she died because she had some disease and she would sleep in her food and poop blood out. Now, I have 5 lovebirds and they're all happy and healthy. I have a dog but he's only 2 years old and I think he will survive for MANY years. We love them!

when i was 8 my dog chewed a hole in the wall of our garage. My dad had to take her to the humane society. When I came home from school and found out that she was gone I was devastated

Well, my cat, Bessie, died of cancer when I was 10, she was about 13 years old.
I think the worst for me was my cat Rusty. He was only 3, and my neighbors showed up and said he's been hit by their car. Depressing, I know. Luckily, I didn't have to see him there, but he died Poor little guy. His twin brother, Mickey (who would now be 5 years old), ran away last July. It's sad though, becasue I tell people he ran away, and they're like, "he'll come back eventually" but then I tell them he's been gone for almost a year, and then they give me this look like, "oh, well, never mind". But now I have my puppy, Teddi, who luckily hasn't tried to escape or anything! To the original poster, VolleyballQt, I'm very sorry, hopefully everything turns out okay!
