Anyone ever had trouble with Tiffany?

I realize it's possible to catch any of the towncar services on a bad day, but my impression is that Tiffany is the most reliable (at least I can't recall reading about anyone having a bad experience with them). Anyone have any contrary evidence? Thanks!

As you suspect, if you look long and hard enough, you'll find a post with bad experiences with any of the towncar services. We used Tiffany after reading overwelmingly positive posts about them and were not disappointed. They were polite, professional, and punctual. What else could you ask for?

We used Tiffany last year, the first time we ever used a town car. When we got to MCO, there was no driver holding a card with our name on it. We waited , looked around, saw lots of other drivers meeting passengers. When I called Tiffany, I got a recording. This was on a Sunday morning. We finally had to take another car after waiting 30 minutes with 2 restless children.
That evening, there was a message for us from Tiffany apologizing and explaining that their driver went to the wrong terminal. They then offered to do our return trip back to MCO for free, and we took them up on it.

My conclusion: 1. I was disappointed that they made such a mistake. Not very careful or professional. 2. I was impressed and satisfied that they made no lame excuses and offered us the freebie ride. 3. We are trying Cartier this time.

Good luck with your decision!

We used TT on our last trip and will be using them again for this trip. Sometimes it's a good idea to look at how companies handle screw-ups. Anyone can mess-up and make excuses and not care. But it sounds like TT accepted responsibility and tried to make it up to you. Does that make your experience at the airport any better? Nope, not in the least. At least they acknowledged you tho. I've heard of other companies saying pretty much 'too bad'. I'm comfortable with TT. Hope I'm saying that in Aug.

Good point about considering how a company handles a mistake. Also, while it would be very unpleasant to be stranded in the airport because the driver went to the wrong gate, we're arriving the day before our cruise, so there wouldn't be any additional consequences. My biggest nightmare is a no-show for the return trip to the airport, when a half-hour could be the difference between making and not making the flight.

I used Tiffany when travelling to WDW this past August. It was my first experience with TT, and I made that selection based on posts on this board.

Service was excellent. I was greeted promptly, everything handled very efficiently. I would recommend them without hesitation.

we used Tiffany in 01 and specifically requested a car seat...no seat provided.....called and reconfirmed for car seat on return....NO CAR SEAT.

I would NEVER EVER EVER use Tiffany again...

We have used TT and always had good experience. Clean car and friendly drivers have always been on time.

We did have trouble with Tiffany:

Our driver was very crass, and mouthy (used the N word in front of my kids) I was hot.

On our trip home he picked us up at the wrong resort. Partially my fault. We switched resorts, and they hadn't changed it.

Anyway to make the story shorter, Many people had trouble with the driver, and complained to Tiffany's Last word I got was that he was fired.

I Complained when I got home, and they refunded our money, and the small tip, we gave the driver, because he was such a jerk.

We are giving them a second chance in October. They made good on the problems.

BTW-- The convience, and grocery stop were a lifesaver, with at 2 and 5 Y.O. , stroller, car seat, lots of lugguge. You get the idea.

Have fun..

I used TTC for the first time for a trip in April. I was a little annoyed with the driver that picked us up at MCO. First, he chastised us for "taking so long" to arrive at baggage claim, and informed us he was ready to leave, since this was his last pickup of the night, and that we were lucky, etc. We had been held up in the concourse for all of about 15 minutes due to a health issue with someone in my party.

I felt the driver was quite condescending and he blabbered on for the entire ride to the hotel, despite my companions' polite attempts to keep our conversation between us. And I have to say I am still not sure it is a great idea to talk about "charged" current events like the war (this was early April) with people you don't know and whom are your customers, but that's just my opinion. We all sort of shrugged our shoulders and tolerated the situation - it was the kick off of our vacation, after all!

The driver who picked us up at the end of the trip was an absolute dream - I was thrilled it was not the same guy - not sure how we lucked out. He was on time, courteous and unobtrusive and he saved TTC for me!

I'll be using them again in July - and asking for the driver I liked so much.

I've been pleased with FL Tours. I haven't used Tiffany for a few years. I had a little scare with Tiffany one trip getting to the airport in time for a flight but I made it.

One time, I had a slight problem. We were staying at OKW, and on a prior visit there the driver waited for me to check in, and then drove me back to my building, and even carried my bag to my room!(beyond the call of duty, but he insisted) (I was arriving alone to meet friends). The next year, I asked for driver to wait for me to check in, and he refused, said OKW did not allow them to go back into the resort. I was annoyed, as OKW is quite large, and I had to wait around for one of those carts to take me to my room. I asked the driver who returned me to the airport, who picked me up at my room about it, and he said that was not true.......... hey, I am paying for a service, don't lie to me! (No grocery stop on either arrival, so to me, this counted as my "free" stop). Yes, I would use them again.....

We have used Tiffany about 4 times. The last time (March) we had a scary driver. He was falling asleap at the wheel. We will rent a car this August:)
