Just wondering if it will be too cold. During our trip next week there will be days with 80 anf 81 as the highs. Just not sure how long it takes to reach it, :hyper: :wave2: :hyper:

I was wondering the same thing. Projected highs for the week we're there are mid 70's. I know the pools are heated, but other's DISsers have told me that you might be cold going to and from your room, etc. Don't know anything about the water parks--never been!! So, any comments might help us plan our trip more appropriately!

Don't know about the water parks, but I was amazed to see so many swimming at the resort when we were there before Christmas with evening lows in the 30's and 40's!!! Steam was rising from the pool and made it look more like a hot tub in winter vs. a swimming pool in Florida! The kids (not mine LOL) were up and running around too in that cold air and wet with swimsuits, I was amazed, they are much tougher than me!

I would take your swim suits. Unless the wind is strong, the temperature should allow you to enjoy the water park or pool.

Have fun.

Usually, the water is warm enough that it will heat your body enough that you'll be warm, even in the 30 and 40 degree weather.

My parents got a hot tub, and I thought it quite crazy to get in the hot tub when it was in the single digits....FARENHEIT single digits. But it really isn't bad. The water heats you plenty to keep you warm.

I don't know where you're from, but here in Buffalo, we swim in 70 degree weather, so I say, knock yourself out at a water park and the pools! :)

We have went to the water parks several times in December when the temp was going to reach the 70's and especially 80. Got there when it opened. Being from MI we thought it was nice and toasty and weren't cold at all

No, you should be fine! All of the waterparks have heated water. I have been when the temps were 70 in March, and we were fine. Just take towels and a change of clothes for when you are done and want to change!

Yep! Did it last Wednesday when the highs were in the 70s. It was a little cool when the wind blew, but the water felt great! I think with the highs in the 80s, you'll be just fine!

We are suppose to leave about 6:00 am . The car is mostly packed and the tank is full. Now I have to try to get everyone to sleep.:earseek: :goodvibes :bitelip: :jumping1:

Have a FABULOUS trip!!!! I'm sure it will be very special and magical regardless of the weather!!! We're right behind you--a little over a week to go!!!!!:Pinkbounc :bounce: :bounce: :Pinkbounc
