I was wondering if anyones ever been sucessful and gotten money back from Disney? I had a trip planned for MVMCP and I wont be able to attend. Is it worth it if I even call them and try to return them?

well email me at Fierceaxboi@gmail.com but i dont want this post taken away from me like the last 3 have been by the webmaster. I am NOT here to sell but to inquire about asking Disney to take the tickets back. So PLEASE do not remove my post.

My dd ended up in the hospital 2 yrs ago from the Norwalk Virus, which was all over the Disney cruise ships, as well as the parks. I pleaded with Disney to PLEASE refund our MVMCP tickets (that was ALL I was asking for) as the tickets were a Christmas present to our family from friends...Disney would have NOTHING to do with it.

Good luck...but, I would list them on ebay or something!

Disney did a refund for me on MVMCP one year when I ended up with one ticket too many. It might have helped that I was there in person and I did still have a group going. But they refunded it with no questions asked.

I had an extra MVMCP this year and Disney Ticketing told me to return the ticket to the address that came with the ticket, include the exp date of the credit card it was purchased with and a short note explaining why the ticket can't be used. They also said it could take two billing cycles, but a refund would be issued.

I held for 20 minutes when trying to contact them and left a message.

All Disney tickets are non refundable, as it states on the back of the ticket.

I am wondering which nights you have tickets for and how many also.

Since the back of the tickets say non-refundable and i was told when i bought them that they were non-refundable, I didn't even try to get a refund last year when my travel plans to WDW were cancelled because my husband got laid off. Since the CM was so adamant about that "rule" and I am not one to buck the rules, i lost out. Oh well! Things are much better now and we're heading down in April!!

Because there are exceptions to every rule. Theme park tickets -- PHP's, AP's, etc -- generally will not be refunded for any reason. However, event tickets have been, on occasion, refunded. It depends on which CM you get and which event the tickets are for. It also has a lot to do about how the refund is requested, the attitude and demeanor of the requester, the time of day you're asking (first thing in the morning when phones are ringing off the hook at CRO or there's a line of 25 people behind you at Guest Relations can be harder to deal than later in the afternoon when it's not as busy), how popular the event is, how likely it is that the tickets can be resold, and other factors.

I figure that at some point Disney will quit allowing thier CMs this kind of flexiability just becasue of things like this board.

If they bend the rule for one person and it gets posted then 10 others call and expect the same "bend".
