Hey Yall :surfweb: My family & I are staying @ Fort Wilderness Resort in a cabin for the 1st time Dec 1st-9th and we are wondering if anyone has pictures or ideas one decorating a cabin for Christmas :santa: We always decorate our windows but never been in a cabin before and i have no idea about this. Is there an outlet outside to use lights?? :confused3 I know the RV's some times go all out but my kids would be soooo disapointed if we didnt have some christmas spirit pixiedust:

A great place to ask would be the Camping forum- I'm sorry I can't help!

Yes, there is an outdoor outlet. For halloween I decorated with orange lights, artificial leaf bushes, pumpkins, window decals, etc. I would post pics, but don't know how yet. I've also seen cabins with inflatables connected with extention cords. The resort doesn't seem to mind as long as you're careful not to destroy property. We strung/swagged lights over the 3 outdoor sconces and handrails...no nails, glue, tape anywhere.

We just got back from staying at Fort Wilderness Cabin #120
We had two outdoor outlet, I know this as I was looking for a place to hook up the golf cart and saw that they had two places. one on each side of the cabin on the driveway end of the cabin.

There is an electrical outlet between the two doors (on deck) and another one on the front/end of the cabin (facing driveway) to plug in your golf cart. I'm pretty certain the one between the doors is a double outlet...not sure about the golf cart one. I would bring an outdoor power strip/extention cords just to be safe.

We will be at the cabins on Dec 10th. You can just leave it decorated for me. I will request the one that looks great! Ha Ha:lmao: Have fun!

We are going in January, and when booking I made sure to ask. I always decorate my windows in other resort with lights. We are going to string white Xmas lights around our patio/deck aree. my hubby will bring an extension chord. We are also bringing light up Disney window stickeys.

Any pix??

Everytime we go the cabins, we always decorate as well. Don't forget about the golf carts too. We had strung battery operated lights up along with Disney Cling on in the front of the golf cart window. We had a blast driving around and everyone pointing. LOL :rotfl2:

Around Halloween and Christmas, at the Fort if you don't have decorations up, you'll be in the minority. Especially the golf carts. They even have a parade with the carts. Pretty awesome.
