And if so, what did you win?

I would love to be on Wheel of Fortune, except if I did, I would probably be so nervous I would never guess the puzzle or else pick a stupid letter like "X"

I haven't, but a girl who I went to high school with was on The Price Is Right. She won $4000 or something like that.

I have. I was on It's Academic, a DC area based high school quiz show. I was our team captain and when we were on, it was the first time a team from our school had won a round and we went on to the second round for the season. We didn't win that one. BUT...we did win money for both of our appearances and I got some of that at the end of the year awards ceremony. Like $300. Which, to a high school Senior about to leave for Senior Week, that's a lot of money! :thumbsup2

I've tried out for both Jeopardy and the Weakest Link - like, I've gone to actual auditions - but never made it.

I went to a wheel of fortune tryout and got a letter that I was accepted as a contestant. I never did get a call to appear but did you know you could wait up to 10 years before you do! So, I still have a few years left for them to call. LOL

I was on Supermarket Sweep about 11 years ago. We didn't win but it was pretty fun.

WOW!! I used to love this show! I wish it still came on. DD's and I always came up with strategies of what products we would run to first. Of course, it was the same strategy most everyone on the show used, meat and diapers :rotfl: Not like you'd see anyone run toward the canned tomatoes!

DD and I were in the audience of Wheel Of Fortune. They filmed four episodes over a three hour period. If you watch carefully from day to day, you will notice that the people in the audience don't change every day. Their clothes don't even change!

Between shows, Vanna and Pat change clothes to make it appear to be a different day. While they are changing the guy who does the announcing comes out and talks to the audience. He was really nice.

During the actual filming, they have people who run back and forth in front of the audience with cards telling you to clap or be quiet. By the time the fourth show was done, my hands were ready to fall off from so much clapping!

Does MGM's WWTBAM Play It count :teeth:? I've been in the hotseat for Millionaire at MGM many times, and even missed the million pointer twice :(.

WWTBAM the TV show is having try outs here in Fort Worth next week. The chances of getting picked are slim, but I'm going.

Great minds think alike, Connie :). And apparently at the same time, too :teeth:.

I made it to the hot seat of WWTBAM at WDW, but couldn't play b/c I was a CM.

Well, never a televised game show, but I have been to The Price is Right Live and Family Feud Live here in Atlantic City. Great fun!

Pyramid with Dick Clark in 1984

ok, no I would love to be on Jeopardy, (not smart enough) but I beat my family everytime (not that it takes much). I want to be on wheel of fortune, I always have, I solve the puzzle faster than anyone I an around, I rule the game!!! (keeping my competition in mind, I'm a winner, woo hoo, but I alwaya beat the actual competitor to the answer too, so can I have a hummer now???) I can beat you too mr. hummer maker, just try me.. :rotfl: ok, maybe

In Disneyland my sis and I were on this game show type thing and won but nothing.. lol I want to be on Price is Right next year when I am old enough

I never have but would love to be on Lingo.

my college prof went on "sale of the century" and stayed on the max number of times allowable. he "bought" nothing but cruises and land trips. was able to travel all over the world for several years during his summer vacations.

an old friend was on jeopardy a few years ago-he did realy well. he's the perfect kind of guy for this game-a photographic memory tied to a love of knowledge. he devours books on every subject and retains an amazing amount of knowedge from each.

years ago a girl from my neighborhood got picked to be on the dating game. when she picked her bachelor and was told their "exicting vacation destination" her face fell to the floor-they were going for "4 FUN FILLED DAYS TOURING THE LOVELY NAPA VALLEY).....um, she lived in napa all her life and had spent countless boring hours touring every winery with out of town guests and family.

I auditioned for WWTBAM (in real life), passed the test but must have failed the interview. :confused3

My mom and grandma want to be on Lingo..or Wheel of Fourtane..

WOF is having tryouts this weekend in our state...hopfully they will go...
