I agree with the other posters that said it is a VERY long day for preschool. If it is daycare that is another story. That being said, your daughter is acting perfectly normal for her age. It is up to the teacher, with reinforcement at home, to show your daughter appropriate classroom behavior, with lots of positive praise when your daughter does things by the rules. That is how she will learn proper social skills in the classroom. It is good that you are going to set up a conference with the teacher. Then you can find out exactly what her plan is for reinforcing the rules. Maybe you could ask if you could come in and observe your daughter for a while. My kids preschool welcomed this any time a parent had questions about anything that went on during class. If all else fails you may want to consider moving her into a preschool that is shorter. Maybe she is not ready to handle a full day of school yet. Good Luck to you both!!!
