Anyone else with this cough?

My throat is congesting and I have this yucky cough. I hear other people down the hallways at work with the same cough, from the throat. I had a sore throat on New Year's Eve and was in bed by 10:00.

Anyone else?

I've had it for about 6 weeks. I'm thinking a trip to the doctor might be in order.

Yep...we've both had it for about 6 weeks....but it's getting better.
DH did go to the doctor and was told it was just a cold...

Both DSs and I have it. Luckily it seems the only symptoms we have is the cough, so I guess we are lucky.

Yep, we've had it here...as a matter of fact, I had no voice from it for 4 days (DH was in heaven) and my DD ended up with pneumonia. It seems to affect some more than others.

I've had it about three weeks. Had to leave church yesterday between the bread and the wine b/c I was getting ready to have a full-fledged coughing fit. I'm really tired of it.

I sure have it right now. I started feeling bad a week ago and sure enough on NYE, I had a runny nose and a terrible sore throat... fell asleep on the couch at 10:30. Now I mostly just have the cough. I sure hope it goes away soon.

I've had a dry cough for a couple of weeks. It sprung from a cold that tried to develop but petered out.

Be careful everyone. Last week both my 59 year old dad and 39 year old SIL were hospitalized with pneumonia. It's been a bad season health wise for a lot of people so far.

I only have a slight cough, but I have a VERY sore throat and have had it for two weeks now...and I have tried everything...gargling, Throat Coat tea, Advil...I have to at least have my voice back for this weekend! (I have a Model UN conference to attend.)

I went to the docotors weeks ago and he said I had bronchotis and the cough could last up to 6 weeks. I was getting better with the cough until today it started again. Hopefully it won't get any worst. This year my family and I have been the sickest we've ever been.
