Anyone else watching The Bachelorette?

I never plan on watching these shows, and yet I seem to get hooked every time. What are your thoughts so far?

I will be soon! I will wait until TiVo records it and hubby is in bed so he doesn't roll his eyes and get frustrated at my reality show addiction!

I used to love watching the Bachelor but gave up on the last couple of seasons, however, after deciding I wasn't watching this season I find myself sitting here watching!

I'm really liking it so far Deanna really impressed me in her season. I like Jason the single dad so far and the oyster guy . The karate guy he scares me I hope she sends him home and what was Donta thinking asking Jenn to sit on his lap

I'm liking the guys getting to move into the house with her.

I'm supposed to wait for Larry to get home to watch it, but I peeked anyway. She looks great...I bet this is going to be a seriously competitive group of guys.

I thought it was pretty good, but I would have sent most of the guys home. It would have been hard to keep 10, let alone 15. I like the teacher from upstate NY, Graham, Eric the Greek speaker, and the lawyer from Texas who got the first rose. The martial arts instructor with the mullet has to go. I can't believe Deanna kept him. I was also surprised she kept the snowboarder with the weird jacket that looks like Spiccoli from "Fast Times at Ridgemont High."

I got sucked into it last night. What a bunch of creepy guys though I thought. That personal trainer If he was my trainer I'd be running for the hills.

I was sad the oyster farmer got the boot. He seemed so cute and small town. I get the crazy jacket guy got the rose for his cool calm demeanor with the "I didn't read about you I wanted to really get to know you" line.

Graham was adorable And from the preview it looks like she is making out with Karate guy????
And did you see her freak out in the promo? Oh shoot they hooked me again.
Right now I would be guessing Graham.

UGH, I missed it... I was watching the season finale of House... I will be watching it next week though....

I wasn't terribly impressed with the guys either. I thought it was hilarious when Greg, the personal trainer, was talking about himself in third person. And then that ending - WOW! I'm sure she will cry big tears when she sees what she missed out on! I also don't like the karate guy with the horrible haircut. And I was stunned that she kept Paul after the swimming pool thing and her name on his hiney! And the duck call - what was that guy thinking?

I like DeAnna. She says exactly what she is thinking and seems so confident. I think it will be a fun season.

There were a few guys that seemed ok. I liked Jason the single dad, and Jeremy the lawyer, and a couple of other ones that seemed somewhat normal.

I have to agree about DeAnna. She is definitely going to speak her mind which should make it interesting. Plus, she said at least twice that there is no way she is ever going to lead anyone on. That pretty much goes against the whole premise of the "Who should I pick final two". If there is no suspense it could be a pretty boring ending.

Also, with this last bachelor, they said from the beginning that it was the "most romantic season ever, ending in a proposal". This time, they are just saying the "most DRAMATIC season ever". I wonder if that means she doesn't choose anyone???

Yes, I caught that too and when they did a close up of her in the audience on Dancing last night there was no mention of DeAnna being engaged or having found true love either. Wouldn't that be crazy if she pulled "a Brad" on the finale' and sent the last two sailing off in their limosines?

Right now I am undecided about her prospects and hope some of the guys grow on me the way Shayne did on The Bachelor. I was really rooting for her in the end and very glad Matt chose her over Chelsea.

I could NOT believe she kept the martial arts guy - yuck, double yuck. I really like Graham and the science teacher - can't remember his name.

The duck call guy totally creeped me out, I think he practices that side-look in the mirror.

What did you guys think of the coach from Ft Worth?

I had never heard of him before this, though... i thought it was kind of ironic that he's claims he hasn't had adult "relations" with anyone and is very into his faith... don't get me wrong, I think that is FABULOUS and extremley rare, but when you think MN vikings, that's not the first thing to come to my mind, lol.

i'd be p-oed if i were deanna. there were only a couple semi ok looking guys there. I was expecting it to be a lot of good looking guys. Oh well. I don't have to pick em I liked that Jenny showed up! She was my favorite from that season!

I told my husband that I hoped Brad would be the 25th guy to step from the limo and DeAnna could say something about him narrowing down the top 15 a little easier.

The karate guy was kinda creepy looking/acting- I can't believe she gave him a rose. The Canadian guy who jumped in the pool seems fun, but he is SHORT! He barely came up to DeAnna's nose- at first I thought she was standing on a platform or something, but many of the guys absolutely towered over her. I liked Jesse, but I am a sucker for the "rebel without a cause" type. The personal trainer dude who howled and tore off his shirt? Yuk!! And the duck call dude was just weird. He actually cried after he didn't get a rose!! I think the science teacher from upstate NY is cute and sweet- I hope he goes far. I also like the look of the Texas guy with prematurely gray hair. The divorced guy seems nice, and Eric, the Greek guy, is hot!
