DVC Retirement

What would you do every day? I can only go about 6 or 7 days before I get too bored. Even with going to the parks.
There are way too many other things I love to do I guess.
Golf,MiniGolf, pool days, gym days, Golf, and more Golf😃
Day trips to Kennedy Space Center, & St Augustine Lights festival, Mount Dora Street Festival, SeaWorld Christmas Lights, just walking around parks & Disney Springs, and then more Golf🤣

I would probably do weekend trips around the state. Right now I'm nowhere near being able to spend more than a month at WDW, but I could make a plan to include a selection of offsite destinations.

When I was living in the Northeast, this was totally my goal. Stay in the beach house June through September. Live in the regular house September until the Christmas decorations go down and then live at old key West January through March (with the understanding of the rules around this day).

I once stayed the entire month of July and that was a lot of fun.

Awesome! It sounds like your goals changed though. Did you feel it wasn’t worth it after all?

Our goal for retirement is to have enough points to stay Jan & Feb. We currently have enough points for about 6 weeks in a studio. I am about 2 years away from retirement and my wife is about 4 1/2 years away from retirement. Every cold day here makes me want to be in the warm Disney bubble.

You're very brave... I love my wife, but don't think I could live with her 2 months in a studio!

We too are intrigued by this idea, but I think 2 weeks on property at Disney would likely be more than our max. Maybe 2 weeks there, than a few weeks at Hyatt Bonita Springs, then back up north.

We did the month at WDW/VB in low point season September and felt it was too long. But I also cant seem to justify taking a chill day and relaxing in the room and watching TV without thinking im spending way too much money to do stuff that I can do at home and thinking im wasting my money and it could be used for another trip 🤣🤣

I think 10-12 days WDW 2-3x a year in a one bedroom in low point season/crowds September and May are going to be our perfect situation. I like to do dlr 1-3 night stays in studios for special occasions and holidays.

Were going to try aulani for a week in a one bedroom next year and see how we like that
