Anyone else watch The Starlet on WB?

OK, I got sucked into this show last week but missed the finale last night...was wondering if anyone else saw it and knew who won.

Michelelyn (sp?) won. Katie was kicked off first. The winner will be on One Tree Hill in 2 weeks.

Michelynne won. It was beautiful. Her last screen test was amazing and she was just fantastic. Katie was third and Mercedes was the runner-up. I think it was Michelynne's story that sucked me in. I just had to know how it turned out for her.

Me, too....I happened to come upon it one night while DH was working late and I got hooked. I didn't really like Katie and I'm glad they put her in her place by making her 3rd. She was so sure of herself. Mercedes...I liked her and she's stunning, but they said what I thought...she's just not as likeable as Michelynne.

It was so moving to see Michelynne go outside and see her name in lights...it's a real fairy tale. Girl shows up with no money and no place to go and makes it. It was really great to watch.

I was so excited for Michelelynn too - my husband was rooting for Mercedes. He thought she was great - and he thought Katie's screen test was so much better than Michellelynn's.

I liked Mercedes well enought but thought she is getting old to be a starlet (24 ) and has some bad habits to try to overcome, and while Michellelynn is green she is more willing to try and step out of her comfort zone and try.

It was really pretty good - and it was easy to get hooked because it was on right after the Gilmore Girls which I discovered late but now love.

Dang! I missed it. But I really wanted MichelleLynne to win. She's so pretty and not a bad actress. Katie just annoyed the heck out of me. Mercedes is good but she's just not as versatile. I believe it's rerun on either Thursday nights or Saturday nights for anyone who wants to catch it again. I'll have to check.
