Anyone else waiting on May AP rates?

I, like another pervious poster, gave up waiting and rented DVC points. I did have a pool view room at AKL booked using a 35% off PIN i received in October, and I was waiting for AP rates to come out so I could add dining. Now, I rented points and am paying less money (and its not going to Disney). I will most likely not be renewing my AP after it expires this summer since it seems they don't value their passholders. And I was a Premier passholder so they will lose my money on both coasts. I hope they start to take notice and make some changes.

I think we owe it to ourselves and to Disney to let them know our thoughts and frustrations. I think we should drop an email to guest relations and let them know that as pass holders we wish they would increase the timeliness of the ap discounts release. I really feel for the family that will be within the penalty window by the time the dates are released. This truly is a perk of the pass holder card that we know and love I think we owe it to disney to let them know how to retain our business.

Sorry....just 1 persons ramblings.....

Just for the record....I just sent in an email requesting for "us" the most loyal customers....that they please update the pass holder site and communicate better about the anticipation of ap room discount releases.

Who knows?? Maybe if enough of us let them know they might listen?

I decided to do some email archive searching over the last few years to see when I was getting AP rates released for May (its our BIG annual girls-only trip every year). . .the last couple years they came out really early (last year they were out in January.) but before that, it was always very late feb/very early March. (There was an annual email for a few years from my sister in the middle of Feb titled "WHY DOES DISNEY HATE US???") I was SORT of comforted realizing the rates have been released this late before, and that this panic is not new in my life.

After registering for the WDW scavenger hunt on Thursday, I too am looking forward to the May AP rates. I was able to book PoP this morning at a GP discount (20%). I'm hoping for some better rates, or to at least add the DDP.
