Anyone else waiting for jetBlue to release April 2008?

You all are scaring me. We are looking for the 12-18th Sat. to Friday..........

We're looking for the 12th to 19th (Sat to Sat) - hoping it won't be too horrible. Last year flying Jet Blue (originally out of JFK, switched to White Plains because of weather) I think the fare for the 3 of us was approx $1100 - which was much better than the fares out of BDL which were about $1600 for the three of us. Of course, last year I wasn't obsessively checking websites and making spreadsheets either, so who knows what the pricing could have been

I think Jet Blue will wait until after the weekend. Don't they usually release flights on a Tuesday?

Last year, Jet Blue released the March dates on Monday July 31st. I remember because I was home from work ill. However, I am not sure whether they will post the fares on a holiday Monday. I know I also got prior notice through an email from Kayak.com. Is anyone having any luck with Kayak this year? I know that they missed the boat when JetBlue posted until Feb 29th. I had to send an email a couple days later asking them to update their search engine, as it still wasn't showing any Feb dates.

I definately need March for a solo trip to see the parents and would like April for a trip to Disney, but won't do Disney if the fares are crazy like they were this April. I thought it would be a couple more weeks before they open March and April, but now I guess I better be looking each day to make sure.

I've been stairing at the airline websites every evening for weeks. Now I see that there are fares available for Airtran, but only the highest levels for 4/19-4/26 when we're trying to go. Do any of you more experienced travelers know if this is it, or, maybe, are they just loading the flights? Could they be waiting for the other airlines before they release their web fares?

Interesting about AirTran... I wonder if they are waiting till Tues...

Anyone know what time JETBLUE typically releases fares?? What time of day is what I specifically mean!!! THANK!!!!!!!!!

I was told by a Jet Blue agent that they load the new flights overnight so they will be available in the morning. Last year, I was able to book my flights over the phone about 10:30 EST before they actually showed up on the website. The agent told me they were just starting to pop into their systems. Hope this is helpful! In the meantime we will just have to wait............

OK, I looked at Orbitz this morning and found flights on Airtran, around when we want, which is SAT-SAT, but only for SUN - FRI, direct for $265 rt. While I was hemming and hawing for 15 minutes, they disappeared, so I called Airtran direct and they still don't have the discount fares in their system or online. The agent all but told me to wait, they'd come out soon.

Tell me there will be more! This is killing me. I better go get some coffee and chill out.

After a cup of coffee and a little break, I checked again. It looks like ALL the Airtran flights are gone from Orbitz. Perhaps it was a goof up?

Thanks for the free therapy. I don't think I could find a therapist to treat my particular psychosis: vacation anticipation anxiety. This is the best support group I've found.

That's pretty much what happened to me. I have an Orbitz ID, so I got to the part where it accepts my credit card and it said that the flights were no longer available. I actually had a few windows open and the same thing happened on each. One said to call the airline directly to purchase the flight. Of course, that's what I did, and the rep told me there were no cheaper flights, but I should wait, they would come out. He didn't know when.

Back to waiting.

I found the price on Expedia. $244.00 I was on hold with them for 53 minutes...UGH!!! They could not process payment since the airlines are updating their dates/prices....Come on JetBLUE or AirTran!!!!!!

I think we will see these fares released this week if not tomorrow. Last year when they released them the first week of August they went all the way to May 1st (our return date in 2008)....I am hoping they do they same thing this year. AirTran just released theirs this past week.....JetBlue cannot be far behind!!! Now if only my JetBlue Amex will put those 50 points into my account I'll be able to use reward points to buy my ticket!!!!

It must be getting closer to JetBlue posting the April 2008 airfares, because I checked this morning and the calendar page for April is there. It's not filled in yet, but at least it's showing now. It just has to be getting closer, don't you think?
