Anyone else waiting for jetBlue to release April 2008?

Jet blue has to post tomorrow....... They are already one month past the date I booked my March Break trip last year. I would suspect that a fair number of travellers have given up waiting and booked an alternative carrier by now! Jet Blue all you have left is us die hards! Oh yeah! Bump!

I am really hoping its soon because whether or not we go on a trip in April is dependent on what the price of airfare is.

JetBlue just added a nonstop from Burlington, VT to Orlando (the only airline to offer us a nonstop - cuts about 3 to 4 hours off the trip) so I am waiting for them to open up to book my April trip.

Hopefully the prices won't be outrageous. The nonstop is available beginning in January and is currently $79 one way on most days. YAY!

That's great news! We fly out of Portland, Maine, and Airtran just started here in the spring. They're offering a nonstop Portland/Orlando once a week, and I'm hoping that will spur JetBlue to do the same. It looks promising, if they offer it from Burlington maybe they'll offer it from Portland. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!

Remember they are on mountain time because Jetblue is based in Utah I think. So maybe they wouldn't post new dates until the business offices open there? One can only hope! I plan on checking later today myself.

I flew down on a Sunday and back on a Saturday and the total for all 5 of us was just under 1200.00. I think it was like 99 one way and 119 the other. Add the taxes and I think that comes out right.

OOH gosh that is much better than I had thought. I was expecting much higher. Lets hope for that this year too... I have a credit too with Jet Blue so that should help toooo...........

April 16-23, which was Mon-Mon. If we went Sat to Sat or Sun-Sun, it would have been $617 pp. There may have been less expensive flights with a stop in NY (we fly out of BOS), but I'm not sure. We only looked at the direct flights.

Ok thanks I was curious, we flew out of Newark on the 22nd and flew home on the 28th. We flew direct also. I really am hoping for the same fares or really close to the same fares.

laughinplace199...I have one of your posts from last year on the Disboards in my notes (I have a page in my little travel info journal that I keep called"Flight Watch for April 2008"...just a little OCD here!!!) that you said you paid $165.00 each way. I have been hanging onto that price in my head as not too bad for school vacation week. We are flying out on that Tuesday of the vacation week and hoping it follows Presidents week fares and drops a bit on the Tuesday.
