Anyone else waiting for jetBlue to release April 2008?

I will add Airtran to the mix! I would like to see Jet Blue, SouthWest and Airtran for April...

I did speak with someone at SW today--regarding unaccompanied minors, and asked when they might release for April. The rep told me probably mid Oct!

Would you mind sharing the unaccompanied minors policy with me? My Mom would like for me to fly my DD down to see her, but I am nervous about sending her alone, therefore we are all going except DH. He has little desire to visit with the DMIL.

On Southwest, a child 5-12 can fly as an unaccompanied minor. They have to fly on a continuous flight--meaning it can stop, but the child has to stay on that flight, not change planes. I did not ask the fee, but other airlines have fees to do this. The parent or other designee can accompany the child to the gate, and on the arrival end, the person designated by the grown up can go through security to get the child from the arrival gate.

We are booked for April at OKW and I e-mailed JetBlue asking when the April fares would become available and as of today, I have received a response. Hopefully, it will be any day now.

I just received an e-mail from Jet Blue and this is what they said
"Because we're busy adding new flights, new aircraft and new cities, we've been keeping our schedules short term." I know March is out, hopefully April will come soon.

That was the exact same message I got. I still only see them selling up until February only. I am really wanting these fares to come out already.

Now I'm off on a few days vacation at the local beach. Glad I have internet access or I'd be burning up the cell towers, calling every few hours. I'm glad I have all of you to wait with or I'd probably have lost patience and done something stupid by now.

Back to the first page only....no news of any release but what do you think???This week since SW is releasing their fares? And do you think it will be just March or all of April too? My dates are 4/22 to 5/1...last year when they released this batch it included May 1st.....

How do you know that SW is going to release April fares this week>???.?>

SW has posted on their website that they are releasing up to 3/8 on 8/28 (changed from 8/23 originally).Whether this happens is of course subject to change but I would think JetBlue is going to want to be in the mix not too far behind.

Bumping back to first page. I am hoping for March/April Jet Blue fares to be released by August 31st and NOT September 4th which is the first day back to school here in Canada! ..........keeping my fingers crossed! Too much chance to miss the posting if that happens! Let's keep this going..... It has to happen SOON!

I just noticed that the pictures/deals on JB's homepage have changed from earlier this morning. They are now advertising their fall sale, which ends in 3 days. Hopefully, March and April fares will be released once the sale is over. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

I just checked Southwest and yesterday it posted until March 7th. Almost all the rates except the most expensive are already gone from Buffalo to MCO on March 7th! The internet rate from Albany to MCO is all gone as well!

I just called JB to see if there was any new info. The woman I spoke with said that they aren't told ahead of time when the new schedule will be put into the system, but it's usually 6 months out. I know I booked my April 07 trip in Aug of 06, but maybe they're not releasing their schedules that far in advance anymore - not that it was very far in advance compared to some other airlines.

It's killing me to think that we might have to wait until Sept or Oct to book flights for April! Let's hope she was misinformed!

I too am anxious to book for our trip in April ,I hope they start booking sooner!
