Anyone else up early trying to book the new Southwest fares??? I keep hitting refresh. The travel tool page is updated, but so far not the booking page. :confused3

I'm checking it too. Want to check out fares for Feb to get an idea for when APRIL opens up! What time do they usually extend? We usually fly Jetblue....their schedule comes out at noon.

It just released at quarter after.
I was only checking in case they included mid-March, but they are not, they stuck to the posted date of March 6.
I'll be back doing this again come Aug.25th.

Hope everyone gets good pricing/times!

Got March 4th - leaving Dallas at 4:00 arriving MCO at like 7:00. $134! Have to wait till August 25 for return flights.

We were hoping for decent flight times from PHL to FLL for a cruise we have booked. The times aren't great so we might have to fly out of BWI. We are going to wait for now until we decide if we are really going to go on the cruise. Checked prices to MCO in January as we may switch cruise to then. It would have been $238 round trip which is great! I am tempted to book just in case but I am going to wait for now.

If it were me - I would book! With being able to cancel and use the credit within the year, it really isn't a bad deal. Flights just seem to be crazy lately.

I'm interested in April flights as well so I was curious what I'd see for Feb!!! Great minds think alike ;)

Unfortunately, I was not very happy with what I saw . . .first their lack of available flight times surprised me! We're checking for nonstop flights from Flint, MI to MCO rather than flying out of Detroit since SW does not offer non-stop from DTW. We tried this last Easter to MCO and it was perfect!!!

Another thing was the prices were not as low as I'd seen in the past. I know they fluctuate and offer a credit if they do drop, but we paid $202 roundtrip this past year during Spring Break ~ maybe it was a fluke?

Finally, the next release date is Aug 25 for flights through April 6, 2015. Of course, the flights we need are April 4, 2015 to April 10. I'll be stuck buying half of our flight and then waiting a month or so for the return flight home :sad2: At least it's not $1067 that Delta wants now for the same flight!!

Good luck everyone! Hope you were able to get the tickets you wanted!!!:goodvibes

Yup, I was refreshing for awhile too. In two browsers, because there were two of us to book for-one on points, one cash. It's February vacation week for NH schools, so prices went up as I booked:rolleyes: Prices were a bit higher than I wanted, but not out of the realm of acceptable for school vacation week. And the flight times were pretty close to what I had hoped for, and nonstop. And I was happy to find that the usual battle cry I hear of "Boston is cheaper" was not true. Same cost Boston versus Manchester, so I could easily justify booking the convenient airport.

As an added bonus, the 24 hour mark for check in for my flight tomorrow fell in the middle of my trying to book tickets. I was VERY happy I had purchased EBCI!

I am really tempted but there is less than a 50% chance we actually need those dates. We are out of point so we have to book cash. And I already have credits to use and gift cards so it could get very messy.

Me too. Booked for end of January. Prices were $27 more than the October flights that I had to cancel but booked them now and will watch for any drops.
Got good times with no stops though so now on to planning the rest of the stuff.

bought mine! :cool1::cool1::cool1:

Have to fly out of Providence instead of Manchester and had to change up and go a week earlier, but got good times and non-stop for $113 each way. I'm happy with the price, guess I'll just have to suck up the extra 30 minute drive each way. ;);)

$134 was a little more than I was hoping for for DAL to MCO too. But since American flights are at around 900 for RT!! I'm happy.
We are going to have to be really watching to get our return flights.
If they stick with August 25, that's the first day of school. Guess I'll be up early enough to cook my kids breakfast!! :)
Glad everyone is having success!

My fellow New Englanders beat me to all of the cheap flights. Can't get anything now for less than $500. So sad. We may move our vacation to April.

that stinks…:sad2:

I saw cheap flights for Feb vacation week when I first signed in at 6:15, I didn't need that week though...

I saw those too, but my husband went for a walk and had his phone off. By the time he got back a lot of the flights were full. Darn school vacation week. That is the only week we can take because we are both teachers. Looks like April.

We're flying out of Providence but not til 3rd week of April.....so I guess we have to wait until Sept for the schedule to update? :confused3

We usually fly on Jetblue, but because we didn't book right at noon (the price was $300 RT PP, today the price is $700), now we're hoping Southwest will have a better deal.:thumbsup2

Mon-Fri the prices seem to be good (if 3rd week of Feb's prices are any indication of April vacation weeks prices)......but the weekends are not looking so great. Wish we could fly Wed to Wed but my job has "black out dates" so I cannot take any time off outside either end of that week. :sad2:

Good luck to you....and everyone else booking today!!!:cheer2:

Yep! Just scored 2 RT tickets BDL/MCO for $404.40. 1/7 - 1/15. :cool1:

Non stops routes on your dates are cheaper then the connecting flights......really strange, usually it's the other way around.

Great price for 2 people!
