I've just started a new job (no not anything to do with disney :sad2: other than wages help to pay for the trips!) getting used to my new surroundings, meeting new people making those unforgetable first impressions. You know the type the ones where people turn round later and say "see told you she was a nutter!!" Well no doubt this WILL be said about me
Two fellow colleagues were taking when I overheard :listen: "yeah its great mickey fights a dragon there's fireworks and pictures projected on water, it is late at night at MGM its called Spectromagic"

Well what would you do?????

EXACTLY!!

I couldn't sit there with a total newbie not having the right info as any (I hope) disney loving person would do, I walked straight over and said "sorry I dont mean to be rude but its not Spectromagic its Fantasmic!"
But I didn't stop there, I couldn't help myself, I then carried on with as much disney info as I possibly could before having to go back to work :hyper:

And there we have it my first impression!! "Watch out for her she's the disney nut!!" First impressions don't really last that long, do they???

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: Thats so funny, I love it!

My parents are going to orlando in september and I am always giving them tips I have not even been yet!

Wife calls me a Disney Anorak so I gave up! Post here only and keep my trap shut.
Worst one I herd was a Dad with his familiy from the UK on a early Disney bus to the MK in summer. He had two young girls and was going through the MK map.

He said 'oh look there is a breakfast in the castle at Cinderellas royal table, lets go and see if we can eat there'.

I didnt say anything, but I hope the little girls got to see the Princesses.

I would have done the same!

You cant really blame the uninformed though, they cant help not been as obsessed as the rest of us!

:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: i do the same kind of things. I customer told me the other day she couldn't wait to try the new Everest ride at universal :sad2: Wouldn't believe me when i told her it was Animal kingdom :confused3

I sometimes wish this stuff happened to me. Over here hardly anyone knows anything about, much less has been to WDW so talking Disney never happens :(

One of my colleagues tells clients I'm in the 'Disney Cult' and she always says 'so are you chatting on the cult boards again?' She thinks we've got some real strange religion going on. I haven't even told her about lime green yet! :rotfl2:

Nice one :thumbsup2 I would have done just the same thing, Disney freak that I am! Hope you'll be very happy in your new job :goodvibes
