Anyone else think they were getting discounted dining?

I booked the buy 4 get 3 free promotion and included table service dining because I was led to believe that was buy 4 get 3 free too.
Since the costs aren't broken down on my confirmation, I couldn't tell.
Called Disney yesterday and found out I'm paying for 7 nights of dining!
With all the drama going on with the reservation system and not being able to make ADR's till who knows when, I just booked the quick service plan instead. I've done dining several times. It was nice to try but too much food!

You could also (depending when you're going, i.e. if it's more than 45 days away) just cancel dining altogether.

While I can understand the excitement, no mention was EVER made of the Dining Plan in any advertising, press releases, etc.

When I booked our stay the CM was very clear that dining was not included in the promo. Plus, before I called to book, I did the reservation online to see the price. I could tell that when I added the deluxe dining plan that it was for all of our nights because of the cost.

when the discount first came out that was the first thing I checked :( It is a much better deal if dining was included.

Sorry

It was obvious on the promo page of the WDW site that dining was not included. Also, I asked the CM when we called to make sure and was told quite clearly that it was not part of the deal. Did they tell you differently?

I just assumed dining wasn't included I guess. Heck, if it were, I'd be going at least twice by June!

Hope you have a great trip anyway, and it's still a great deal!! :thumbsup2

I always thought it was very clear the only things covered was the hotel and the base park ticket (no hopper.. no water park)

If they wanted the hopper, waterparks, food options, etc included they'd have specifically said that in all the advertising.
