It's before any discount and such. I say book and pay the 200$ and keep watch. Is this the new norm? I can’t see paying almost $300 for a value. Will these prices go down?
True but I just hope people don’t pay that because those prices will never go down. I remember After 911 when they were giving away trip for practically nothing. They have to make the money they're losing on not having the dining plan from somewhere?
True but they always had discounts and the prices for values were never over $200 so then 15% off of $150 is good but 15% off of $300 is not good enough. Boo. I really hope this doesn’t become the norm. It's before any discount and such. I say book and pay the 200$ and keep watch.
That is prolly there goal right now. Than once we are over all this covid mess they will lay the discounts on thick to pack the parks. At this rate that might not be till 2022.That's outrageous. Disney is going to price themselves out of the market. There's plenty of nice places to stay near Disney that are much bigger and less money.

I wonder when they'll start offering discounts again... probably not until the increase capacity.
they already have priced themselves out IMHO. However I see some maneuvering happening that will entice more people to pay those outrageous prices again in the coming months/years.That's outrageous. Haha. Don’t worry, I’m the complainer and still tempted to book. Not sure I can wait until 2022. My goal is to get myself to wait until nov/ December 2021. They HAVE to have a vaccine by thenYES. And yet I still booked anyway.![]()
What maneuvering? Not debating just really don’t know. Trying to get in to their brain!they already have priced themselves out IMHO. However I see some maneuvering happening that will entice more people to pay those outrageous prices again in the coming months/years.![]()
Well, just my opinion but watching the new rules for opening (not debating whether in differetn places they're right or not) I see a clear trend toward onsite stays being the best/only option right now. All third party ticket purchase and offsite hotels right now seem pretty much pointless for a true parks visit. What used to be a pretty simple workaround to save money by purchasing vacation third party has, over the past few years gotten "complicated" - now with our 'new normal' I see Disney taking advantage of this..... onsite is definitely where it's at for the discernible future. (It's a business, of course they'll leverage what they've got to maximize profits) We shall see what the future holds, but I'd already hit my max for stupid high hotel prices onsite as-is.What maneuvering? Not debating just really don’t know. Trying to get in to their brain!
