Anyone else secretly happy about "It's a Small World" rehab?

It's funny you brought that up. My friends and I all refer to that ride as "The Mexican Small World".

no complaints here- and I agree that the rio del tiempo has too much of 'small world' in it.

I go to a dry cleaners, that when you open the door, "It's a Small World" theme plays. I never asked, but just assume that they (the owners) are Small World lovers. I am disappointed that the ride will be closed when we go in Nov., however, maybe it will be better, at least I won't be walking around all day unable to get the tune out of my head,like when I go to the dry cleaners .

Momxx5, unfortunately, It's A Small World will still be closed in July. It just closed a few weeks ago, and it's scheduled to be down for almost a year. Sorry your little one wont get to see it.

I love this ride because I always like the chance to sit and cool off. The ride itself is ok, nice, whatever and it keeps the kids happy but my dh always says it smells so musty! I really think it needs the refurbishing. BTW, I have a cassette tape and read along book of "It's a Small World" circa 1980's that I pulled out for the kids to listen to and read along with in the car. What a mistake because of course it became an instant favorite and we had to listen to that song over and over for about a month!!!(there is a story about Bobby who visits and it talks his way through all the countries he sees on the ride)
