Both my husband and I each applied for our own Jet Blue Amex; yes, for the 50 True Blue points but primarily to extend our current points' expiration by another year.
Why in the world does it take so blessed long for AMEX/Jet Blue --- wherever the problem is -- to recognize that we've made our purchases on the card and our points should be extended another year?
We've received and paid 2 bills from Amex already. And we lost 8 points today because they expired while -- whoever's fault it is -- is taking their sweet old time recognizing us as Jet Blue/True Blue peeps who should've been granted an extension.
I tried to call AMEX. AMEX referred me to Jet Blue. Tried to call Jet Blue; they want an email.
So now I guess I sit and wait -- for another 8 points to expire in a week.
Anyone else run into this? Any pointers in hurrying this along?
TIA
