Anyone Else Pay for their WDW Vacation Weekly?

My DH and I are going to WDW next December staying at the Wilderness Lodge for 11 nights. After my initial down payment, I have been sending them a weekly check until my final payment is due in October. Same cost just seems easier than putting the whole lump sum on a credit card.

Yes, Every week I call my TA and make a payment over the phone. It's easier for me to make small payments than 1 large payment.

Yes, we recently made payments weekly online!! It was so easy and felt like we weren't really paying for it because we didn't have to give the lump sum all at once!! have fun...

I made monthly pmts with my CC to get my rewards points (Marriott Chase) then turned around and made my CC pmt online...the points I made is paying for our trip to CA hotel and previous points paid our airfare!

we are leaving for WDW in 8 days cool1 and that is exactly what we did. We booked using WDW's website and put down the $200 deposit in early Sept. and then paid something every week (dh is paid weekly and I am paid bi-monthly) we had to be paid off by early nov, and actually paid off by mid oct this way. we took it a step further and after the hotel, passes, and dining plan were paid off (early Oct) we then set seperate money aside each week and now, we have all other expenses taken care of and didn't have to touch our Christmas money for the trip at all..

I feel it was the best way to do it for us and and so happy it worked out the way it did.
