Anyone else noticed the little voice in the hedge in Fantasyland? (and a rant!!)

And here I was thinking we were all cool because we finally encountered Push in Tomorrowland. I can't wait to go back and listen for these voices!!!

And ITA with the OP about screaming...especially unnecessary screaming. During the pre-show for ToT, these obnoxious teen girls took turns releasing bloodcurdling screams every few seconds during the whole show. Now, the screaming was bad enough, but I actually have been having this ear problem for a few months now where my ear just magnifies the screaming to such a degree it is physically uncomfortable. I wanted to duct tape their mouths shut. Thank goodness we didn't ride the actual ride with them.

I think ALL screaming is unnecessary!! ;) I understand little kids squealing with excitement (or screaming in fear!!), but why do older children and adults need to scream? What purpose does it serve except deafening those around you?

If I was in that pre-show with those obnoxious girls I would have definitely told them to shut up. Didn't anyone in the room say anything to them?

Well, the first time one screamed it made everyone jump and kind of laugh (except me....it made me clap my hand over my affected ear). The second and third time though, no one said anything, but I loudly said to DH, "We're NOT riding with them."

I'm with you on the screaming. It never used to bother me per se, but this year it really did. They might as well been screaming as loud as they could inches from in my right ear. It really limited my enjoyment of rides I love, like ToT and Splash Mountain. Luckily, the pressure in my ear popped before Space Mountain, so I was able to enjoy that without too much discomfort.

I don't really know what is going on with my ear. Heck, even the doctor doesn't know. But even if it wasn't screwed up, the screaming was over the top. Teenagers were randomly screaming as they walked around Magic Kingdom during EMH. You know, I remember when I was younger doing stuff like that and thought I was just so cool. Now I am ashamed of what a rude, stupid jerk I must have looked like to those who were just trying to enjoy their vacations.....without aspirin!

If you go down one of the little side streets on Main St., there's a woman taking singing lessons on the second floor of the building. Also in the kitchen store on Main St., there's an old fashion telephone on the wall, pick it up and there's a party line conversation going on.

i love the phone in the kitchen store! i remember the first time i heard about it was on the Keys to the Kingdom Tour my second trip and i just HAD to try it out the next time i was at MK. it was really cute my fiance and i were listening but we got some strange looks from people i think they thought we were a little strange standing there holding this obviously fake phone up to our ears and laughing!

I remember hearing recorded animal sounds in one of the restrooms. I think it was maybe the restrooms at Rafiki's Planet Watch in Animal Kingdom. You could hear elephants and other animal noises. They also had educational signs on the walls telling you about animals' poop and pee, eg how much poop an elephant does a day! :thumbsup2

Have you ever heard the guy in the well that is near Indiana Jones at MGM? There's an archeologist type guy in the well and if you pull the rope he says things like -

stop that I am holding a priceless artifact! *crash noise* I mean I WAS holding a priceless artifact...

:lmao:

This is a great thread! I'm going in May and I can't wait to see if i hear anything like that. I'll have to remember to listen to these things.

I've heard the talking water fountain in Epcot, but no talking bushes yet...

I showed this to my aunt a couple years ago. We got SO many funny looks from people walking past as we're standing there bent over with our ears down in the water fountain, LOL!

Well I only heard stitch in one bathroom. It was either at Cosmic Rays or the Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station. I'm just warning you that it really is frightening. I don't frighten easy and when he started talking I turned around and made sure I was the only one in there.

stitch is also in the ladies room between swiss family robinson and the old diamond horseshoe saloon.
