So I remember staying up all night watching stuff like That's so Raven or the Suite Life of Zachary and Cody. Personally, I'm not a big fan of the new shows on Disney Channel. I really miss the older ones, they should dedicate a whole night to the older shows they had! (Every once in a while ill turn to disney channel)

I remember back before Disney had any of the tween shows like they do now - prior to Lizzie McGuire and Kim Possible, and prior to the Disney original movies starting up. They aired original Mickey and Donald cartoons and other Disney stuff during the day and at night they would show the original Mickey Mouse Club, Spin and Marty, Zorro, and the Disneyland show. I miss that Disney channel a ton.

I remember watching the late night Disney too, now I just watch Mickey cartoons on my DVDs, but I also miss some of those shows I grew up on, specifically Phil of the Future. My favorite movie is Back to the Future, so anything Time Travel I absolutely love. It's a shame Phil only lasted two years

I miss that time too... I wish they would at least bring back the Disney Afternoon.

That's pretty much when the Disney Channel became terrible. I don't think those were any better than what they have now. And they're far from the "older" shows.
Was The Babysitter's Club series made by Disney or just shown on the Disney Channel? Same with Avonlea. I don't remember them being called Disney Original series or anything but they weren't shown anywhere else.

I'm really too young to remember too far before Lizzie McGuire times, but my mom said Disney Channel used to be strictly a movie channel, and she had some really awesome VCRs of the movies they used to show, like this one called Blackbeard's Ghost-it would be interesting to see what it was like during that time.
