...the sound of the toilets flushing in the staterooms?
Next to the horn ('When You Wish Upon A Star') it's my family's favorite sound on the ship. Always good for a bunch of laughs.

I agree! It's funny especially the first time. When Sara and I were sailing for the first time ever in 1999 I swear you couldn't have shot Sara out of that bathroom any faster than she came out after flushing! I couldn't stop laughing for the entire cruise and even after it's been a running joke for almost 5 years! WE'll get a refresher in Jan!

A woman in the stateroom next to ours tried this foolish stunt. The result? In one flush she gave birth to her sister's child, performed a hysterectomy on herself AND removed all the tartar from her teeth...

and are there directions on how to flush the toilette (seat up seat down etc) the BF wont pay any attention...so who knows...maybe he'll be flushed to sea!!! *just joking-I'm hoping to keep him around fro awhile*

other than that maybe I'm not going to tell him anything and maybe let him find out for himself...is it going to be fun to watch him jump?

Let's be grateful. It's the one place where guys don't need to be reminded to lower the seat (<I>and the lid</I>) after using the toilet.

I have never been on a Disney Cruise but I have to wonder if they are anything like the toilets on Carnival... I have nicknamed those- Colon Suckers! Ack! Watch out!! lol

If you want fresh air and have a cabin with a verandah........... leave the door open and then flush. Leave the lid up for maximum effect

Yes! It will be hysterical if he doesn't hear about it until he actually flushes. You don't expect anything different than home, & WOW!! What a noise!! It sounds like some sort of bomb or horrific suction machine.

Don't know if there's directions to put the lid down or not - but why stifle the 'full effect'??

And as Dan Riley (one of the comedians on board) says, the crew knows whenever you flush, and they yell "Incomming" and everyone ducks .

You know I really don't beleive that one, but I can only imagine what it sounds like near the "collection" sites.
