Anyone else impatiently waiting for those darn December deals?

I swear if something does not come out soon I'm going to cry! We still have our September ressies ... but I don't think it's gonna happen and we have to cancel in 10 more days! Aaarggh! Come on December codes! I'll take a FTP or AP even!

I am checking mousesavers all day today, Didn't an Ap rate come out last July 5th? I believe one rate came out the 5th and one the 22nd. Anyone elses input on these dates. So, does that qualify as obsessive!!!

Nevermind Dec, Im still waiting for my August trip, LOL!
In all seriousness though, Im not concerned about the Aug trip because we have DC discount and its at ASMO so we already have a pretty low rate. Im hoping to upgrade to a Deluxe for the Dec trip so thats the one that Im waiting on too.
Do you think Dec will come out in the next bunch?

Man, I have been waiting for these codes for what seems like an eternity. I got really spoiled last year with that GA resident code we had for the ASMu at $49/nite. I would love to have something like that this year, but I don't know if I will be that lucky.

I am waiting to see if the AP rates look like it would be worth buying the AP and then trying to sneak back before the end of next year. There are many reasons that lead me to believe that even if we had an AP, we won't get to go next year. Ultimately one of the most key points for me it whether or not the Pop will even be included in any offers.

You just have to be patient. You are still 6 months away from December. Disney wants people to book at rack rates and will offer discounts if they need to fill rooms. You should never book a room counting on a discount. Book what you can afford...if you get a discount, you can be pleasantly surprised and save more or upgrade.

I think you probably will see something offered toward the end of hte month, or the first part of August.

If you have to cancel your plans in 10 days because you don't have a discount code, well, then I guess it's your decision to make.

the CM (Geri Lynn) told me the new codes would be out on or after August 23. I booked our room for 4 nites at $133 and will hope room codes or packge codes come out and then I'll update my reservation.
I booked because of all the uncertntity surround POR and if they do close for renovations I don't want to miss out on any upgrade possibilities.

I'm waiting for October 1. Have an AP, so the Visa Package rates willn't work. My guess is the discounts for Aug 24 to Oct 1 will come out next, that is what the Visa package was that came out earlier this week.

"Available to anyone" room only codes for 10/03-12/25 came out on 7/22 last year. AP rate followed on 7/28 but these were only good through 12/19. I, too, am hoping for some codes in a few weeks. I could stay a few more days that way.

I spoke to a CM today at CRO who said new codes for the fall should be out next week. He was very pleasant and seemed very sure. Hope that helps...

407-560-PASS (7277). I think it takes you to the same operators as 407-W-DISNEY though. I've also used the Disney Club 800# in the past (I'm a cardholder).

Why do I feel like I'm recieving a scolding here?

I know that we are FIVE months away from December. I have not booked a room counting on a Discount ... this is why I am impatiently waiting for December codes to come out ... so I CAN book a room in December before I have to cancel our FTP ressies that we have made for September! Would just be nice to know that we can get a room at less than rack rate before we did cancel September because it's upsetting enough that we will loose the FTP deal. To have to pay rack rates would just be well ... sad! LOL

My TA was hoping also that deals would come out before we had to make our final decision on September. Our going or not in December really depends on them.

I was simply asking if anyone else was as impatient as I!! Hence, I realize that I am impatient! LOL

wdwobsessed--I understand what you mean! I am also watching for AP rates for Dec. to be released. I anticipate that we will see them some time this month. I am also waiting for AP rates to be released for next Jan. which I hope will be announced sometime in Oct. To me, the anticipation and planning for my next trip to WDW is half the fun! It almost gives me butterflies in my stomach. I hope everything works out for you. Good luck!

Count me as another person who is waiting impatiently

I have our airplane tickets all paid for and the points rental at OKW taken care of for the end of our stay. All I'm waiting on is the AP discount so I can hopefully reserve 2 nights at the WL during the beginning of our trip.

If Disny doesn't offer AP dsicounts for early December, I'm just going to stay at the new HIFS. No way I'm paying rack rates.

wdwobsessed-I know exactly how you feel!!! I had to cancel my first Disney Cruise on Mother's Day because DH's company started laying off people and cut overtime. Needed my deposit for the cruise to buy him a car. Boy was I bummed out. But he got an additional job as a teacher 3 nights a week to make up the difference in money. Now we are planning a trip during his time off in between classes and just before Christmas. Had a choice between 5 nights before Christmas and 8 nights during his March/April break, but our favorite time to visit is during Christmas so the choice was pretty easy.

For me the codes will mean the difference between staying at Pop Century with DC discount or splurging for the Poly!

Hope that the CM heart4pooh spoke with is current about codes next week. Of course I'll be on a all girl's trip to see my DH's aunt in upstate NY so I'll have to make sure I check the boards while I'm there so I can jump on it if I need to.

In 2001 the codes came out in the first week of July, they seem to push them back each year.

I'm also waiting very impatiently for Southwest to release there next batch of dates because airfare right now is out of sight.
