Anyone else here booked for DCL westbound through the Panama Canal for May 2008?

In case anyone is shopping for airfare, you can begin. Airlines take reservations 330 days in advance. We are now well inside of that.

We have to figure out LA back to Florida. Love to do First Class, but as Bob Barker used to say, "Only if the Price is Right."

As of today, we are 309 days from departure!

Got a nice letter today from Disney Cruise Line.

Panana Canal has upped their taxes and we are going to be charged an additional $100 per person. That won't prevent us from going.

Then our traveling companions call and the school has adjusted their vacation schedules and now they probably can't go because they would have to take the kid out of school even longer than planned.

Just curious who is still going. Laid back, gay couple, looking for table mates!

I've been out of touch with the Disboards for a few weeks (6 or 8 weeks, but who's counting?).

Kevin asked me if I heard if the rate for the Westbound was going to be lowered. I hadn't. Anyone out there hear of a price reduction? I only know of the $100 in taxes being added then being removed.

We really have to get planning on this. We are 213 days away. It's only 44 to Thanksgiving. So much to do. So much to do.

We just converted our booking to DVC Points.

We are 152 days until sailing! Is everyone still planning on going?

Today is 91 days prior to sailing.... we can book Palo, Shore Excursions, etc., tomorrow. Oh, so exciting.

We got our plane tickets today. $191 from California back to Florida. We were thrilled.

Are we the only ones left going or are others still planning on sailing?

Hello all! Just over a month now...have been far too busy to think about it. It seems no one has posted on this thread since Kevin&Randall and that *can't* be good!

I did save a lot of money on my car insurance, oops I mean flight, since I happened to be talking with Randall at the right time. $206 for DCA to MCO and SNA to DC (BWI).

Starting to pack this weekend...hope to be done, too. Taking clothes to Florida next weekend. Fashion show this Sunday, my living room!

Hope to be able to catch up and spend some time with you on the cruise.

I"m surprising Linda with a Cat 3 -- at least I hope she hasn't figured it out yet LOL. If she has, she hasn't let on. But she has asked me about a dozen times this last week what cabin we are in.

Everyone have safe travels... I"m really excited to meet everyone!!!!

Which cat 3.....I miss my cat 3!! On the May 2005 repo we had 8048. Sooooo nice!!!

I'm getting more and more excited now about the cruise. Rob, we have to make time to catch up. We have late dining.

We are in 8080, I love port and aft. I figured if I was going to splurge on a cabin, this was the cruise to do it, with SO many sea days.

I'm also part of the Day 5 Fish Extender team and am excited about that too!

We fly into Orlando on Friday and then off to the port on Saturday.
