Anyone else having trouble using the site from your iPhone?

I've been on for about 5 minutes this am and clicked three posts, and have been diverted to four spam websites and two times to the App Store for lyft and a random game. I love these boards, but this is the main way I can read them and these diversions are a pain.

Is there a way to stop them?

I am using an IPhone in London now it's OK. I notice the Disboards goes down 9 am to 10 am every day our time so that's, 2 am East Coast. Not sure if there backing up files but it's regular as clockwork.

At 1am pacific time for years the dis has gone down for an hour or so.

The redirecting stuff has been bad the last couple weeks. Uber and being sent to the App Store isn't fun.

There's a post about it on thr tech support pages but mods don't seem to be paying attention.

Yes I am on the West Coast. Between 1am to 2am I can't get on. Not sure if it affects my computer as I'm normally on the iPhone.

I was having the same issue.
I've done 2 things. Go to setting on your phone. Scroll down to Safari scroll down to clear history and data.
Also I've been going in from the main Disboards page and them scrolling down to Dis Cruise

I have had several issues with my iphone and the DIS boards, so I have opted just to use my laptop / pc instead.

Yes, it had been happening to me for about two weeks. It doesnt do it when I am on my computer but happens when on my iPhone. It happened when the dis first had its new look and then stopped but it is happening again and so annoying. But, the dis is free so I dont complanin lol.

The boards go down for a short time in the middle of the night (US time) for maintenance.

If you find you get redirected to the App Store, it would be great if you could drop an email to admin@wdwinfo.com explaining what happened and which forum or post you were on when it happened. Telling us what app you're directed to is also helpful- take a screenshot to send if you can. This is usually due to a problem within the Google ads. If we can identify which ad is causing the problem, Webmaster Corey can block it.

You can turn off JavaScript to stop it from happening. On an iPhone, go to Settings, then click on Safari, scroll to the bottom and click on Advanced. On that screen, turn the JavaScript button to the off position. Then when you are done on Disboards, turn it back on.

Also be careful not to click ads when scrolling. I have done this by accident too.

Kept as a short file to avoid advertising. Just for techs to see.
