anyone else having this problem with TSMM?

I went on the first day of opening. And my friend and I cannot get enough. We try to go over to Disney even if its just for a couple of hours to ride it once or twice, and try to improve our scores.

Ummmm, I wish I had that problem. Unfortunately, a 6 hour drive to ride TSMM twice just isn't in the budget right now.

Enjoy the ride -- I got to ride it during AP previews so I know how awesome it is.

BTW, how have you found the lines when you've gone?

yesterday, the lines for it were 40 mins. before it broke down for an hour and a half.

We went on the 27th. We got there 30 minutes before opening and were told at the rope drop that it would be down and no idea when it would open. It ended up opening around 2pm, and the wait was 100 minutes all day. It just wasn't worth waiting in line for with 3 kids!

Okay Darren, what are your tips for riding this with the shortest wait possible?? I can't do single rider line because of DD. And we can't stay out too late. Is it worth it to try and be at rope drop? Or just wait until that inital rush has gone and go later?

later on in the day always works for me. Around 4 or 5. People are tiring, going back to their hotels, eating dinner, sitting for parades.

No, no fastpass for TSMM at Disneyland. The version at WDW however does have it.

The single rider queue was operating off-and-on yesterday - unfortunately not when I got in line, but fortunately for the person who ended up sitting next to me it was back on soon thereafter. I only had a 35 minute wait at about 5pm.
