Anyone else having this problem RE: Disneystore.com

Just a word of warning, you may also be hit with customs charges once the item arrives in the UK which will bump up the cost

There using IP detection.. You can get around it by using a proxy address be careful you dont mess up your router settings though

Strange, I can get on the Disneystore.com site just fine but if i try and get onto the USA WDW site it takes me back to the UK version no matter what i do

Actually change that, just tried to get onto the Disneystore.com site and today it is taking me back to the UK site. Last night i could get on there just fine.

Just tried it using a different proxy setting and address and it let me in fine.. Just find a proxy thats in the US already and doesnt leach out your real address.. Same technique as watching US web TV like ABC catchup

I put a single, ordinary sized pin in and ran through the checkout procedure just to see what the cost is and they want $50 for it

Having said that, Disney seem to charge enough for their uk shipping - £5 for your order is quite a lot if you're only ordering a pin

I think with regards to the US site, they courier the goods over, having said that for one pin its extortion. Which is very expensive plus you will definately be stung for Customs charges plus the couriers fee on top. The advantage with going through normal mail is that sometimes things slip through without being checked

im doing a big order to be delivered to the villa if its only pins your after i could send them on to you after i get there 12th dec should only be cheap postage that way.
