Anyone Else Having Fun "Naming" your MB's ???!!!

So, we have been having a bit of fun naming our MagicBands when its time to customize them-

(Btw, really need more colors !)

Just received our bands for April--- DD9 Bday---

So, for example---- hers says "Bday Gal"--- DDS4 says "Bad Boy"--

Ours just say "Mom and Dad"-

For our Nov-Dec trip, we ordered all red bands--- We are Santa, Rudolph, Clarice, and a green band for DW that says "Grinch" !!! )

(Also, just got the Hitchhiking Ghopst Glow bandits from "TDS" )

If is fun to come up with names at home. We did this and felt a little silly when I had an issue with one of them and the cm asked "Who is Gator and who is Boudin?"

Well, we're newlyweds, so we've been Carl/Ellie and Lady/Tramp so far. Nothing too creative, but they have meaning for us.

This time I'm Cheshire, and I have a Cheshire the Cat MB cover/thing. DH is WikiTiki, because he loves the Enchanted Tiki Room. DS is WALL-E, because that's his favorite character.

We have 5 sets at home and 2 more on the way (upcoming trip and AP)

sometimes we coordinate other times it's a mix - so far we have:

- me: WExplorer, Love You 2, Harambe, Badger, Dragon, Arwen, R2-D2

- DH: Guano, Joe, Citizen, Yoda, Bilbo, Han Solo, G S HS, MM to AK

- DD: FoxTiffen, Mstr Swan, Rebel Spy, Nature, Ahsoka, TigerLily, Tauriel

needless to say we've been having a lot of fun with each set!

My wife and I have six or seven pairs, as we have worked our way though the colors. Most recently, we had Valjean and Galinda, after musical theater characters, and Tigrius and Tryphon, after names of saints. On the same trip, we also had Abraham and Sarah, after a pair of mooses that live in our stairwell. (No, they aren't "moose" - these two are definitely "mooses".) Before that, we weren't pairing them directly, so we had stray names like "Nice Man" and "That Lady".

I've always associated my parents with Lady & the Tramp, so theirs were "MsLady" and "Butch" this trip. DSis and I were going to be "Anna" & "Elsa", since we act like them a lot, but the site wouldn't work properly to let me back in and change from our regular names by the time I'd thought of it. I think it's fun to tailor them to your personality or something you're doing for the trip!

Wife: Top Teach (she's a teacher)
Nephew: Lord Can2 (inside joke from when he worked at a daycare/learning center)
Niece: Punky Pie (favorite My Little Pony + Favorite type of music)

We are expecting, but don't know boy or girl yet.

For some reason, I was able to customize normal magic bands as well as annual pass magic bands (even though we haven't had APs since 2013).

Got me and my wife each a blue one and a pink one with "Dad To Be" and "Mom To Be".

We should find out boy or girl before the trip, so we will both wear that color!

Yup! I love using the princess names! Last year I was Jasmine and this year for my green band I will be Ariel.

I was trying to think of cute mom/son combos from Disney movies to put on our Magic Bands, and the only one I could think of was from Dumbo. I'm overweight and would really prefer my Magic Band not say Mrs. Jumbo though

Oh wow what a great idea. I didn't even think of nicknames I just used our real ones. I still have plenty of time before they are shipped, now I have to come up with something creative. Thanks for the thread!

I personally do not like when a CM calls me by name, so I give it something that either cannot be confused with my name or something they will not say. I either give my initials or something that is personal to me that others will not get.
