Our Spring Break Starts March 6th this year. I'm thinking this is early and that crowds may not be that bad. We have two weeks, and a I was thinking if we went to Disney for the first part and then down to San Diego is may be an okay time to go, but if it is going to be crazy busy I'll some other time. I just REALLY want to go back!

officially it is March 29- April 2.
also to take into consideration, we have year round schools.
There are always kids out at different times.

We have "March Break" that week as well as a Spring Break right around Easter. Our kids go to a charter school, and as far as I know they are the only school in Utah with a break that week. We are also planning a trip to DLR that week, and I am hoping it won't be too crowded!

We went to DLR the first week in March 2008 and it wasn't too bad. Our kids didn't have spring break - we were getting in a family trip before our son left. We had the 5 for 3 tickets special that is running now and spent 4 of our 5 days. I would go for it. You won't hit the most crowded spring break times - since that will be the couple of weeks before Easter and the week after. But, you might get lower operating hours and less parades and shows. It can be a trade off. Put in 1 or 2 weekend days if the shows/fireworks/parades are important to you.

We went Tues thru Sat. and Tuesday was nice with lower crowds and it was easier to get on rides. Wed. got a little busier and by Thurs afternoon it was starting to get more crowded. By Friday, it was harder to walk around and ride times were a lot longer. We do have a lot of pictures with characters, so it was easy to see them and get pics, which tells me it wasn't toooo crowded.

I didn't know all of the touring strategies that I know now. :disrocks: And we were with a group of 12 people so I don't feel like we got to do everything we wanted to, but everyone still had a great time. It would have been nice to have a better touring plan and not feel like we were standing around trying to figure out what to do. :confused3

Ours is March 15-19. DD and I are flying down on Sat, Mar 13 and staying until Wed, March 17
