Anyone else have an issue with the "chat" icon not showing up?

I have used chat once w/ member services. I need to chat with them about a reservation merge and I cannot get that icon to show up for me anywhere. Im using a MAC. I know I can call but I really really dislike calling places. Does anyone else have or had this problem?

It only shows up when there are CMs available to chat I think… it will pop back up again if you try later on

I figured it out. I turned off my VPN and it showed up immediately.

I was just about to say if you have an ad blocker you may need to turn it off.

I use an adblocker and don't have issues seeing the chat button.

I don’t use a VPN or ad-blocker and the chat button has always been hit or miss for me for years. It tends to never be there when I need it, but if I check in periodically one will show up. I primarily use Safari but occasionally will use Chrome on Mac.

I need to turn off my in-browser ad blocker and my PiHole for it to show up. I'm assuming your VPN has some privacy/tracker-blocking features beyond the basic "get an IP from a different region" premise of a VPN, @VGCgroupie?

Honestly I have no idea, I just click it on to browse to try to and keep things private. There are actually a handful of websites that will not work with it on. Oddly enough Kroger grocery store will not work at all.

Sounds like it's got some content blocking aspects

i had some problems earlier after I had chatted and needed to chat again, I had to login on a different device for chat to work
