Anyone else had this issue with adding DDP

Sorry for the long post...

So, decided today to add the dining plan to our reservation for Friday night - we have a 7 day stay with family in a 2bdrm starting on the 12th, but on the 11th it is just the three of us.

When I called to have it added it took about 15 minutes before they finally let me know that there was an issue with the reservation - apparently they were not able to attach the dining reservation at it had not been 'transferred' properly whatever that means :confused3

He assured me that everything was ok but they would have to get their IT department to take a look at it and they would call me back when they had it fixed.

When I look at the reservation now on the members website it is still there, but when I go on the Disney website it has been removed?

Should I be worried:confused3
 
Had major problems with the DDP due to the new system. Phone MS and re confirm everything and if it is messed up when you get down there demand that it gets fixed ASAP. Do not wait until you get home to straighten things out
 
Post back as we want to add dining to a relative's first night. I've yet to call because my last part dining did not go well.
 
Maybe its because you are bordering on that "48 hour prior to arrival" rule they have on purchasing the DDP? Just a guess but I could see that causing a hiccup in the system if the programming was sloppy (which never happens with Disney IT :) ) and the intent of the rule didn't match what the system was being told to do.
