Anyone else going to be at CBR early Aug?

We are staying at CBR for the first time starting on Aug 6 for 9 nights. I haven't heard alot of other DISers mention these dates. Last year we went to stay at Pop during free dining and it was like the whole board was going there too!

I will introduce our cast of characters:
Me- newly 30 disney addict
DH-31 loves all things disney
DD- 5 princess in training
DS- 3 loves mickey but is terrified of him in person!

DMIL- Loves us and is a new Disney lover as well after last year's trip!

Anyone else staying at CBR in early August?

We requested 1st floor adjoining rooms non-preffered.

Hi there,

I will be at the CBR later in the month (Aug 26 - Sept 3). It will be my first CBR stay too! You can see my cast in my siggie below. I actually requested a preferred room......hoping to be close to the marketplace (foodcourt). I am also seeking tips from seasoned CBR veterans. Have you made all your ADRs? I have made....and changed....and changed..........and changed TS ADRs. I am worried that with the free dining that I won't be able to change onsite.

Hope we can both get great tips for our trip to CBR! Have a wonderfull trip!!!!

Hi! I have had all my adrs made since March! I did change a few here and there with no problems. We originally wanted free dining but since the dates were later and we couldn't go then we are paying for it

I'm now wondering if it is going to be less crowded than when we went in Sept last year during free dining and MNNSHP and F&W. I'm hoping!

I'm going with my girlfriend (her first time to DisneyWorld! ) from August 4th through August 9th to CBR. We're getting a King bed and I'll need to call them back again to try to get into Trinidad or Martinique.

I've been to DisneyWorld 3 times, last went in 1998 and never stayed on property - I cannot wait!!!!

Alot has changed since '98 so you will have a blast!

Be sure to make some special dinner reservations and see all of the nightly shows.

Hi all! This will be our second trip to WDW. It's myself, my daughter, she's 8 now, and my twin sister (I'm a single mom) We stayed at CBR last august also, and we LOVED it. We love the tropical feel, the pool, and the turtles and birds at the lake. My daughter is an animal nut, so she loves it. Last year, we were there at the free dining time, but we didn't have it! we had no idea about it. it was so crowded, i'm hoping it's not quite as bad this time.
