Thank you, 2-3 days ago I was so down, really starting to worry if I should go away next month. I have just bought annual insurance but obviously they will not cover an undiagnosed condition so hospital care in the US would be OOP. I always look on the bright side of things but I was struggling.
2 days on I am posting the smilies againI still have my original problem, the side effects of the tablets just made me 10 times worse.
On the plus side I lost almost a stone the past 10 days.![]()
Not sure about a meet yet, I guess we need flights first![]()

Sorry you've not been well.
For our annual insurance this year we ended up with an annual family policy and a top up policy for me with top dog. Think it was only just over £10 for the top up policy to cover my airway condition (trachael stenosis) - I was under consultant care at the time. May be worth looking into for you.
I think the Disers will be taking over.![]()
I tried a few but got same from them all, if I have an undiagnosed condition they will cover for everything else except any claim relating to that condition. Once you know what a problem is they will all give prices for cover relating to it but when no-one knows the condition no-one will cover at any price.
I just went with Post office for ease this time, the way I was feeling I really didn't want to spend any time and effort on it.
There were a couple of things that swung it to PO which were extra with other insurers.
We are going a bit earlier as the October school holidays in Scotland is a bit earlier. Flying out the 11th and flying back the 29th. Getting closer and I can't wait!!

Not booked yet but considering 31st Oct-10th Nov, Karen has booked time off work but I have an appointment with a gastroenterologist next wednesday.
The way I have felt the past 2 weeks I didn't feel like going away next month or Nov but Tuesday I took myself off medication, now feel 90% better, can't believe how bad I have felt with 3 tiny pills a day. Most annoying thing is my GP & 2 visits to A&E never suggested coming off the medication.
So, if I don't take a health downturn we will be there.![]()
