Anyone else going end of october, early November?

Hi Neighbor!!

We'll be at POFQ (just down the way from you) from Oct 20-Nov 1, going to MNSSHP on Oct 30th.

There are 2 things I'm hoping for: 1. The crowds won't be too bad and 2. Disney extends FD discounts for that time!

Good luck with the planning!

We fly 1-15 nov staying at okw :-) taking girls back for second trip and all family are coming amd some that didnt attend our wedding . Cant wait :-)

Thank you, 2-3 days ago I was so down, really starting to worry if I should go away next month. I have just bought annual insurance but obviously they will not cover an undiagnosed condition so hospital care in the US would be OOP. I always look on the bright side of things but I was struggling.
2 days on I am posting the smilies again:goodvibes I still have my original problem, the side effects of the tablets just made me 10 times worse.
On the plus side I lost almost a stone the past 10 days.:yay:

Not sure about a meet yet, I guess we need flights first:thumbsup2

you lost a stone in 10 days????? Yikes!!!
i lost a stone and half in two months (since my accident 2 months ago) ...
the silver lining in the cloud of having to have my elbow replaced (we shall see if the store will pay to cover all of my out of pocket expenses....it has cost me a fortune for all the physical therapy)...

Sorry you've not been well.

For our annual insurance this year we ended up with an annual family policy and a top up policy for me with top dog. Think it was only just over £10 for the top up policy to cover my airway condition (trachael stenosis) - I was under consultant care at the time. May be worth looking into for you.

I tried a few but got same from them all, if I have an undiagnosed condition they will cover for everything else except any claim relating to that condition. Once you know what a problem is they will all give prices for cover relating to it but when no-one knows the condition no-one will cover at any price.
I just went with Post office for ease this time, the way I was feeling I really didn't want to spend any time and effort on it.
There were a couple of things that swung it to PO which were extra with other insurers.

We are there from 29th Oct - 12th Nov at OKW. I think the Disers will be taking over.:rotfl:

We are there 5th - 19th November staying offsite. Flying LGW with virgin. Can't wait. :cool1:

I know how you frel travelling with an Undiagnosed condition!!
I had my Cholesteatoma undiagnosed for at least 4 years even after my 1st surgery it was diagnosed wrong, Now i also have a rare condition that they still dont fully understand the extent of along side the Cholesteatoma plus an Infection in my mastoid and next to the lining of my brain so Insurance for me is hard they will cover what they know and not what they dont!

When we went in 2008 i ended up in hospital with severe kidney stone problem day before we was due to fly home and the hospital doctor decided npt to treat me with pain killers due to my being pregnant "something we found out in the hospital & sadly later lost" the nurse told me to dishcharge myself and check into another hospital as this chinease doctor had un ethical morels!! i got treated at the other hospital with pain meds just fine but had to pay OOP for the 1st hospital and secound due to me discharging myself!:scared1:

yep we're there oct 27th till nov 17th. Looking forward to it, be nice not to have to worry about work for a few weeks.

We are in Orlando Oct 31st to 10th Nov then we go for a 7 night cruise on the Fantasy, can't come soon enough!

Wayne, sorry to hear you are not well at the moment, hope you are back to feeling better and enjoying Florida again soon! :wizard:

Were flying out on the 31 October through till 15 November and will be staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge, can't wait now

We are going a bit earlier as the October school holidays in Scotland is a bit earlier. Flying out the 11th and flying back the 29th. Getting closer and I can't wait!!

We fly on the 8th and come bk on the 29th!!! where are you staying/where are you flying into?

Im soooooo excited I could burst :lmao:

Hi Tinkerpea,
I saw all the hassle you had changing and just glad that you are all booked to go. We fly with BA Edin-Gatwick-Tampa, (I hate flying!!) Staying at OKW until the 20th, then a villa for the last week, doing Seaworld as well. We are first timers and I am so excited!!! Did you manage to change any ADR's? I have been trying to get one for the GF afternoon tea for me and my daughter but no luck!!
Where are you staying?? xx

Not booked yet but considering 31st Oct-10th Nov, Karen has booked time off work but I have an appointment with a gastroenterologist next wednesday.
The way I have felt the past 2 weeks I didn't feel like going away next month or Nov but Tuesday I took myself off medication, now feel 90% better, can't believe how bad I have felt with 3 tiny pills a day. Most annoying thing is my GP & 2 visits to A&E never suggested coming off the medication.
So, if I don't take a health downturn we will be there.:goodvibes

Been to see specialist today, he thinks its more stress related than anything else but doing more tests and scans. I am not sure but at least I am feeling far better than I did last week.

Now I am booked, I have been watching & waiting for flight prices to drop below £500, the ones I wanted with AA were £520pp, today they fell to £468 so i booked. Best thing about AA miles are they are quite good for free hotels, a return journey gives enough airlimes for a hotel worth approx £50-60 so it means we have paid about £400 for the flights.
Fly out 31st Oct, return 11th Nov :goodvibes
