Anyone else going and no ME tags yet??

We leave the 25th and no ME tags yet. I was hoping to get them around the 21st day mark like it said. I know there have been delays, but like anyone else who doesn't have the stuff, I am getting nervous. I do have the 800 # to call, but I was wondering how long should I wait before I call. Anyone else going around the same time and haven't received their tags? Thanks.

I'm going on the 18th and nothing so far. I figure that there have been so many people going without any tags that Disney has it figured out how to expedite those tagless bags!! I'll be making my bags stand out by using some very colorful ribbons etc. Then taking a photo of them before we leave so I can have something to hand the baggage people.
But, maybe I'll get lucky and my tags will come before I leave!!!

We leave this afternoon and no tags. I printed our resort information on yellow paper, had it laminated, and made our own tags. We'll see how it works!

Leaving the 12th and no tags yet. We are planning on doing the yellow tag with our info on it too.

We are leaving Friday and have not received tags, but on another thread some are getting their tags for the 20 somthings of this month.

We leave friday the 10, no tags, but I get my hopes up everytime the FedEX truck drives by.....

We just returned from Disney and didn't have out ME tags. It didn't cause any problems. We checked in our baggage and picked it up our selves so it rode on the bus with us - we knew it made it to FL with us right away. You can give them a description of your bags and they'll find them and take them to your hotel but that sounded like a hassle. By time we got off the plane and made it to baggage claim our bags were on the carousal , we took them to the Magical Express check in and they printed our return tickets for the shuttle (everyone checks in with or without your ME luggage tags) from there you get in line for your bus and you're on your way. Don't panic - the only change we did different than those with ME tags was getting our own luggage. It went very smooth. Have a great time and don't worry if you get them.

To Nictodisney, Thanks for the info. I was just discussing this with DH yesterday and if we don't receive the tags, we will just take our own luggage with us. For the last 8 trips we have taken, that is what we have done anyway. In fact last year we have it down pat. While I waited for the luggage, DH went to get the tickets from Mears. We arrived in Orlando at 9:30 and by 11:00 we were already at the hotel checking in.

Since you did pick up your own luggage and had it on the bus when you got to the resort, they still held it if you room was not ready, correct?

I was checking with reservations yesterday and inquired about the tags. I was told that the tags are coming late or not at all, but not to worry. Supposedly a CM will be waiting for you at the airport. They will have a list of who is arriving. I sure hope this goes well. It is our first family vacation with the grandchildren and I really do want it to be "Magical".

We leave the 18th and our tags arrived on Monday. For some reason, they were sent FEDEX.

We're leaving on the 26th and no tags. I called a couple of weeks ago and they told me I would have them by June 7th - NOT! Nice to know not to worry, although my DH will not be loving the idea of having to haul around luggage plus golf clubs!

We are leaving on the 20th and no ME tags yet. I booked my room ressie thru Magical Journeys and they have been advising their customers who don't get tags to just retrieve their own luggage and them go to the ME counter. So that is my plan B if no tags come by the time we leave.

well......we leave TONIGHT and FINALLY got our tags this afternoon - so don't dispair - they will get there!

A few more hours and we will be HOME AGAIN at DIXIE LANDINGS!

Still no tags for me and I leave in 9 days. It's funny how it's so hit or miss still with the tags arriving to people.

No tags...leave on 6/21...but it sounds as if they may still arrive and if not, it will be relatively easy anyway.

When we brought our bags to the hotel then did hold our bags for us until our room was ready (it was ready 2 hours early). They are used to having guests there before check in or bags there after check-out and will take care of you. No worries - they've thought of it or already dealt with every situation!
