Anyone else getting antsy waiting for 2013 package rates?

I realize it's no guarantee rates will be released in June this year like they did last year but it's killing me....if we have to wait until the end of the summer, I'd be very disappointed. I'm hoping to be able to book my ressie before my ADR's! Fingers crossed!

Yep Im right there with you. We usually go in September but decided to go in February this year and the waiting is killing me! I check every single day to see if they have "magically" added the 2013 rates so we can at least book our room...

I'm very anxious about it... Going in January means 180 days out is fast approaching! I'd like to be booked so I don't have to call daily for ADRs!

I'm getting antsy also because I think if the Disney World resort rates go, then Disneyland resort rates would go up. I can't book 2013 rates through the website, so I hope for this soon.

I will probably do that if package rates don't come out by the end of this month!

I'd still really love to be fully booked before my 180 days date because some of the meals I want require prepayments, and I'm planning to have deluxe dining, but hey, what can ya do. If I have to get that stuff fixed after the fact too then I will!

I was given a room only quote over the phone for our travel dates of May 22 through June 1, 2013. I was told that these were the 2013 rates and that they were guaranteed. I also had an online chat with a CM who told me that the 2013 room rates have already been established, that the ticket prices had already increased and they were just waiting to see if the dining plan prices would increase. She felt like that is what is holding up the release of the 2013 packages. She said that they were told to tell everyone to expect the 2013 packages to be available for booking the "later part of August" but when I questioned her a bit further, she said it may be earlier.

I booked my stay the other day at BLT. We are going April 6th, 2013. I am so confused. Why wait for the rates to be published? Am I less likely to get a discount now???

I tried calling and booking room only so I could atleast guarantee that..but the agent over the phone gave me the highest rack rate for the room and stated it had to be paid in full to book it. For PO it was around 4,000.00. I think Ill wait...lol

You were lied to, call back & speak to another CM - You should only have to pay for 1 night up front.. I booked a Little Mermaid room for April 2013 months ago and only had to pay for one night.

Waiting and watching, watching and waiting...for June 22-29, 2013. Not that I'll book right away, but it just makes it seem that much closer to be able to see the package prices in black and white...

When you were given the quote did they tell you that you would have to pay a certain amount upon booking.

They said that I'd have to pay one night's deposit but I told them that I'd just wait to see when the packages would come out.

YES! Big time annoyed that you can't play with the numbers yet for 2013 rates (unless you call and ask for a bunch of quotes). The "helpful Disney chat person" that popped up when I was trying to play around on the Disney site checking rates said that if I called they could give me rates without actually booking yet, so I might have to bite the bullet and do that.

We're probably going the 2nd wk of March, 2013 - unfortunately part of "peak season" - and I'd really like to see what the actual prices are going to be so we can decide which resort we want (POR, WL, or AoA).
