What exactly is a glicee? I thought it was painted glass over a print. We got a watercolor of VWL with our membership documents. Is this the same thing?
Graham Nash (yes, he of CS&N) worked on improving inkjet printers years ago, to print his artwork. Knowing that the public would never buy a lowly inkjet print, Nash and his team came up with the fancy sounding name "giclee", which loosely means "to spray", as in "inkjet".
Do not confuse this process with the $50 inkjet at the local big box mart, it's much better than that, but still an inkjet.
