I saw WISHES at MK 3 times when we were at WDW last week (twice from the MK and once at O'hana) and shed tears each time. I loved it! Does anyone else find themselves getting emotional watching WISHES? When it was over and I was rubbing my eyes walking down Main St. I wondered how many people were looking at me wondering what was wrong with me!

I cry too. It's so beautiful. I think Walt would have loved it. It's just pure Disney Magic.

Even when I was watching the Ultimate Fan's Guide to WDW on tv, when they got to the part showing different families enjoying Wishes, I was still crying.

There was, and may still be a small piece of video of Wishes on the main page here. I cry watching that.

Wishes definately evokes emotion. Don't feel like you are alone. Maggie

I get emotional during Wishes too, we saw it 3 times on our last trip. The last night in the parks we made sure to see it and both me and my son cried like babies since it was our last night being there. When we walked through the main gates to leave, heading toward the ferry we turned around and saw Mickey on the balcony of the train station,he was waving to and thanking everyone for coming to see him, this only made myself and my son cry a lil harder lol The 2 other times that we saw Wishes on our trip...Mickey didn't come out to wave so I told my son that Mickey knew we were leaving and wanted to say good bye to us.

Yea - I did too. They really outdid themselves on this one. I am mad I never did buy the CD though. I watch it on my computer every now and then though!

You bet I do! I cry during Wishes everytime...I also wonder if anybody notices me and thinks "what's with the wacko??" LOL! I can even get a little choked up just listening to my CD. :p

I ball like a baby everytime I see it! I think it's the combination of music, the castle, the fireworks, the crash of the sugar buzz I was on all day, the thought that when you wish apon a star dreams really do come true! Oh boy, now I'm starting again! I get chills just even thinking about it!

I can't wait to see it this time though with my husband who i will be meeting in disney and seeing for the first time in almost 5 months!

I CAN'T WAIT!!!!! As soon as that countdown clock ends, it's time to ball like a baby again! It's gonna be great!

I sobbed like a baby both times.
I think everyone thought I was nuts. It really is an awesome show.

definitely!! There was even a video on this site that someone shared and I just instantly teared up......

I tear up during wishes, but I really cry during Illuminations. Both are truly great, and what a way to end the day!

Oh this makes me feel better! I have only been to Disneyland and have only seen their most recent fireworks, Imagine and I cried all three trips I saw it! Was feeling a little embarrassed but now know there are other sentimental fools out there. When we see Wishes our first night at WDW one month from tonight I know I will be a wreck and I can't wait! I think what gets me going is looking at my kids' faces and knowing that this is part of our family history. I already daydream about taking my grandkids to DL and WDW and my kids are only 10 & 8! I think you have to have been to Disney to really understand the magic and appreciate the impact it has on you. Lets just keep crying and enjoy ourselves while we do!

I've seen it about 5 times and I cry every time. But I also cry at Disney commercials and the travel planner DVD because the people are so happy! :earsboy:

You are totally not alone. I tear up big time, and I also cry during Illuminations too! When my dd was 5, she looked up after Illuminations and said (and it was not her first time viewing either), "mommy that was so good it almost made me cry". Ah, like mother like daughter.

I cry during both Wishes and Illuminations. You are not alone!

:umbrella:

Ditto from this emotional fool. I tear up easily, and this one always gets me. I love it!

Are you kidding? I get welled up just thinking about "Wishes".
I always cry, (happy tears) when I get to MK and take that first walk down Main Street and see that castle. But "Wishes" is extra emotional!
I cry too, over the Kodak movie at the beginning of "Honey, I Shrunk the Audience."
Disney is a highly emotional experience for me.

Disney is a highly emotional experience for me.

Me too, My family thinks I'm nuts. Most of the shows make me cry too. :wave2:

I haven't seen wishes yet - but I will in about 3 weeks but I am most certain that I will cry like a baby. I tear up everytime I see Illuminations and when I see the castle, it gets me teary. Just can't help myself!::MickeyMo

Wow! I am starting to get chills just reading this! I can't wait to cry over my favorite place on Earth. :cloud9:

See? I told my family I wasn't the only one! I tear up at Wishes. But you know the one that got me every time? Tapestry of Nations! The original. Before the changes. What a sap!
