Anyone else get bumped from CR?

I'm new here, so howdy! Spent Sept 22 through 27 at CR, and we got bumped from our Tower Room reservation (made 6 months prior) to GF. So did the couple we were traveling with. They said it was due to hurricane Francis damage, but miraculously, two days later, when we checked with the front desk at CR, they had rooms available! Could it be that all the triathlon-ers cancelled due to the impending Jeanne? We vacation at CR every year since 1997, and we love it there! I know this season has been hard on Floridians, but if the rooms weren't available on Wednesday, would they really be available two days later? Just wondering if anyone else had that happen to them. We certainly made the best of it, after all, we were in the happiest place on earth. I really enjoy reading all the messages, happy to be a new member!
