Just wanting the most for my money!

I decided to go for it with AKL. I am fairly certain I did the right thing. I am pretty excited, lol!

Total came to $1780.95, $200 due by Feb. 8th, balance due by Oct. 26th.

I have stayed at both Pop & at AKL twice. I enjoyed both, but if given a choice I would go with AKL! But then again I would not want to shorten my stay.

ETA: I see you switched, good for you! You will love AKL!

UGHHHH. Now I am sitting here thinking about calling back for AKL. Is it worth $566.90 more to stay there? Or even $309.17 (giving up 1 night)? I just don't know.

On the one hand, we really don't spend much time at the resort. On the other hand, this is probably our best chance at ever staying deluxe. It is also probably the last time we will do Disney for a while. *sigh*

Ok now for my good news I had 2 rooms booked at Pop, but we have now changed reservations & are staying at the Poly Bil & family are staying there as well & now we also have a Grand Gathering number.

I am so excited about staying here. Kristine I know you have stayed here, any tips?

Anyone ever done the breakfast at Tony's for the Grand Gathering? Is this included with the dining plan?

Yes, decided to go for the gusto! We had only planned on 4 days in the first place, so I'm really not losing out. Very excited to be staying deluxe!

Oh, I have to tell you guys. DH was thrilled about the switch to AKL. He then asks if we will have a view of the animals. I tell him we have pool view. He gives me the look. I call...we are now Savannah view w/bunks. It was only another $162, so not too bad!

I'm DMM and we're travelling 12/21/2007-1/8/2008 and we CANNOT WAIT!


But alas it is waaaay tooooo far away?!!?

I understand how you feel. My DH and I are going from 12/21-/07-1/1-08 and can hardly wait. We'll be there for our anniversary and of course, to celebrate the holidays. We've stayed at POP. I take it you've been there before. We loved the oversized reminders of the various decades. This time, we are staying at the AKL. Maybe we'll actually see each other there!

ahhh...we thought this one out really well, UNTIL we decided to cruise on the WONDER until the 27th

otherwise we were debating between the OHANA and the CAlifornia Grill.

Now our big decision is where to eat on New Years Eve!

We plan to eat at Tony's Town Square Restaurant in MK. My DH and I want to be in the MK for that night and thought it be good to be somewhere near Main Street, knowing how crowded it's going to be there that night.
